Re: New Wheel Gun

I've not priced out revolvers in awhile I thought you could one for or atleast nice like new one for around $500. I know I've seen a few used ones lately in one of the emails i get (centerfire or classic maybe?) in the $4xx range dont think they were 6"er's though. The novelty of shooting 9 out of t...

Re: New Wheel Gun

I feel for ya tough choice the extra versatility of the 692 is appealing.. then have to think for that price can also pick up a nice Smith or something a bit more high quality.

Re: AR10 stocks

I have standardized on Magpul ACS for everything. Better cheek weld but not much added weight and a bit thicker to store in the safe. Maybe add weights in the storage compartments? I've only had one fixed (on a 24" 223) and still preferred the ACS. Yeah maybe I'll see what I can stuff in there to a...

Re: newb looking for range ammo advice

S&B and Fiochi are what I'm currently buying 115 and 124gr. They're a little on the hot side no quite +p but more along the lines of NATO spec, and both can be found pretty cheap I think Academy had FIochi for $8.49 a box last time I was there which is about the same as online.

Re: DVOR Canik parts and accessories

If you like the Warren sights sure, I'd use night fission suppressor heights myself. Well i never use it, but this is only High Front sight ever i saw for Canik. better than nothing Night Fision makes them as well though I don't know if they will be able to send them to you, they're tritium night s...

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

I still don't understand why make a carry gun with not night sights. Smh. It just doesn't make sense to make a carry gun with no night sights when everybody knows you need them. Only reason I can think of is to keep the price down, even though in the end it would probably only raise prices $40-50.

Nice, I'd be interested to see how it stacks up against the PT92, I believe they're both in the same ballpark price.

Welcome. Not sure which one your talking about a few of the models come in that configuration. Can't go wrong either way with the TP9's or a PPQ.

Re: Which TP9 Would Be the Best All-Around Choice.

All around I'd say Elite as well. However if all around doesn't include using it as a carry weapon then I'd say SFX. Elite Combat could also be in the running if all around were to include being a suppressor host.

Re: New from the Netherlands with a ?

Yeah not sure if anyone can ship them due to ITAR and other reg's even though it shouldnt be a big deal since its going to another NATO country. BTW the $15 mags are promags you don't want those stick with the OEM MecGar's. I bought a promag in a pinch to make sure I had enough mags for a steel sho...

Re: New Wheel Gun

I've eyed some of the Taurus revolvers, some very good prices compared to everything else but always been hesitant to pull the trigger on one due to past Taurus rep even though they seem to be doing real good job turning it around lately. I'd like to do a scoped pistol. Right now my only wheel guns...

Re: Any one tried one of these Speed loaders

Do you guys that only load your mags full just shoot statically at a target, then reload and keep doing the same thing? I run drills or tests from the beginning to end of every range session. Sometimes using an empty mag, some drills require only a specific amount of ammo in each mag. I’ve seen a l...

Re: Any one tried one of these Speed loaders

Never realized that people load differently for the range. I always pre-load max mags and then at the range reload max mags. Shoot til the ammo runs out. Which means that the Lula (and a spare and a spare for that one) is pretty much mandatory. Same all my current mags that aren't still in packagin...
