Re: New Canik Owner-TP9SFX Break in

90% of everything i have shot out of mine is 115 you will get a few stove pipes but as long as dont mind that you can get some rounds down range. If you get stove pipes you gotta fix it. Cannot live with it. It should operate as reliably like a Glock. Trigger goes in, bang, and came out the brass e...

Re: Jacketed Bullets

I have shot some federal hollow point 115 out of my SFX with no issues, just a little loss in accuracy at a far distance meaning over 25 yards.

Re: Concealed carry and single stack thoughts

my wife has a glock48 which is basically a single stack glock19 She says my SFX is easier to shoot. Normally the larger the mass of the gun, the easier its going to be to shoot. That being said, her glock is way smaller then my SFX so it would be way easier to carry. So it all depends on the purpose...

Re: canik tp9sfx slide not locking back after last round

number your mags, and see if it happens consistently with one of your mags. The mag is what makes the slide lock happen, so if one is worn out, it could be that mag.

Re: my Canik TP 9 SF does not like......

i know for me with any century spring it took around 200 rounds to "break in" and have 0 failures. I have shot 124 in mine, but mine mostly uses 115. i only use brass. and i have only had one issue in the last 750 rounds and that was a failure to fire, which ill blame on the ammo since it did have a...

Re: Anyone still waiting on a stimulus check- like me?

i pay money every year, but i recieved mine around a month ago without any extra paperwork. Mines based off my 2018 taxes as i waited to do my 2019 until after my stimulus came.

Re: New to 9's

once its broke in 115 will be fine.

you may get a few stove pipes but the more you shoot the less likely. i think it took 200 rounds of 115 and i havent had a issue since.

Re: Canik pistol rail issues

Re: Canik pistol rail issues

Same problem I just found out I have with my TP9SF. Going to contact Olight see if they can send me a new adapter. I'd rather not file down my gun. to me it was no big deal, i had already cut gas pedals into the frame and stipled the whole area where they go, and did a trigger guard undercut. so a ...

I only shoot brass, because steel is so tough on the guns.

that being said, i have a 24lb spring in mine, with winchester 115 and have no issues.

Do you have to remove the magwell before changing out the backstraps?
yes you do.

i had the large one on for one time at the range, and it pushed my hand awkwardly into the dove tail to the point it hurt. i figured i would like it because i have very large hands. but it didnt work well.
