Re: Laser Trainer

I have a stupid question. Are these systems one shot systems? Since it activates on the hammer, you have to rack the slide on a striker fired gun or cock the hammer on a 1911? I really want a system but, if only activates on the first shot, is there an alternative?

Re: Smith & Wesson M&P Shield EZ

My wife bought one and likes it. It is comfortable to shoot and the slide racks so easily. It is no tack driver but, it does just fine for what it was made for. I have shot a couple hundred rounds through it and it is very reliable. I have had no FTFs or FTEs. I have even carried it a few times beca...

Hammer fired. I have carried a 1911 in condition one for years. My current best friend is a Kimber Ultra Carry.

Re: AR15 Optics

I didn't have the cash for a Trijicon, so I bought the Burris AR-332. I have been pleasantly surprised. It is a 3X and does just fine for shorter ranges. It also has a reticle with hold over dots for up to 600 yards, according to Burris. I don't know if I buy that since it is real hard to see a 600 ...

Re: Truck Gun

Maybe the people using the term "truck gun" do not have a concealed carry permit and they live where it is legal to have a gun in your vehicle without a permit. I would hope they don't leave the gun in the truck all the time and it is just there while they are driving around.

Re: RMR for the SFx

Love my RMR. I also have the Vortex Viper. I did not get it with the SFx. I bought it specifically for the 6 MOA. It has not shut down on me during any shooting, but I don't like the battery on the bottom. It is a bit of a pain to change out the battery. My wife has the Burris Fastfire III on her Q5...
