Caniks on display at SHOT Show

Looks like some new offerings from Canik. A rep from Century sent me these photos from SHOT Show. Still waiting on full details.

Re: 2019 Shot Show News.....

I just sent a message to one of my contacts at Century. I imagine he's busy at SHOT, but hopefully he'll get back to me if there's anything noteworthy regarding Canik.

Patriots heading to the Superbowl, again

I used to be a pretty big Patriots fan. Over the last couple years, my interest in watching NFL games has deteriorated, and I typically only watch college football now. When it comes to championship games though, I usually tune it. I'm still a supporter of the Patriots, but I was kinda rooting for t...

Re: TP9SF or SFX? Non-competitive shooting

This is the one I went with, traded a 2 month old M&P Compact 2.0 for it and very pleased. The SFX is light for its size, sweet trigger, nice sights and very accurate. The only thing I didnt get with it was the green front sight. I got the spare red one tho. http://i67.tinypic.com/nc0fvd.jpg Nice. ...

Re: SFx spring replacement

Good idea!! I'll start a thread and make note of comparability. Others can note if they've use it in their model and I'll update the master list. @Weapon has a pretty comprehensive list too. He's been in and out of the forum lately, but maybe we can get his input too. We're on the same page... As s...

Re: SFx spring replacement

We should start a "sticky" soon of all the parts available for Caniks. Or create separate stickies for each model. Good idea!! I'll start a thread and make note of comparability. Others can note if they've use it in their model and I'll update the master list. Weapon has a pretty comprehensive list...

Re: SFx spring replacement

Doesn't hurt to have the spare parts. If it's just a range gun, then replace them as needed when issues arise. Better to have them available than have to wait for them. I just started putting together a "spare parts kit". I'm using my SFX for competition and if something goes wrong, hopefully I can...

Re: Feeding issues

At this time I have at least 500 rounds fired and lately during my last two club shoots I have been having problems with feeding. The fired round would eject the next round would load and a second round would stovepipe right behind the new round that just fed into the chamber. 500 hundred rounds is...

Re: SFx spring replacement

If it's just a range gun I say screw it and keep shooting. Now if you started shooting competition, or use it for a home defense gun, then that could change things.

I can honestly say I have never felt more comfortable with a pistol than with the elite.
Welcome to the forum. That's exactly how I felt when I got my first Elite. I ended up selling off my Glocks, S&W's etc. They feel good in the hand and naturally very accurate for me. Welcome again.

Great review. Do you have the numbers reversed for SA/DA?
Looks like I have them backwards in the post after install. I'll fix it. Thanks.

Galloway Precsion RSA and Spring Kit in a V2

I have a post on here from a couple weeks ago where I upgraded one of my TP9DA's with the Galloway Precision reduced power spring kit. It made a significant difference in my DA, so I decided to buy another kit and install it in my newest V2. Initial trigger press weight check on my V2 was 11lbs in D...

If I get a Canik TP9SFX and it needs sight adjustment, is the warren tactical easy to adjust with a sight pusher?
Yes, very easy to adjust with a sight pusher.

Re: Faxon Announces Pistols

so does the budget friendly FMK line Have you held one or fired it? I'd be really interested in feedback. Been looking at the 9C1 G2E for quite some time. Not yet. I just started researching them and thinking of getting the DAO and then ordering the drop in FAT trigger system. I'm curious to see ho...

Re: Just visited Canik home site, no more Shark?

I love the T-120 and decided I had to get another in case anything catastrophic happened to my old one I do the same thing with my favorite guns. I have multiples of the V2,DA and Elite. If one goes down, I can run another one while it's in for repair. The T120 is also a thing of beauty, and I've w...

Re: Faxon Announces Pistols

I like the looks of the suppressor ready models slide, and they dont attach the rear sight to the optic plate like some other companies we know. Also like the nice deep undercut on the trigger guard. I'd rock one if it weren't for the price, its going to be atleast a $1800+ gun the cheapest strippe...
