Re: customer service ?

I haven't dealt with the customer service all that much, but when I have it's been a great experience. Owning several Caniks a couple issue did arise where I had to contact them. I've heard in the past their CS was not so good, but since I've been a Canik owner, I don't have any complaints.

Re: New member from E Texas

Janik, I picked up 500 rds if 124 and 200 round of 115...i figured since its apparently used I'd shoot 200 of the 124 and then see if the 115 goes down range without issues. If read nothing but good things (minus the firing pin)... I've already been researching triggers and firing pin/recoil spring...

Re: New member from E Texas

Welcome to the forum. Definitely put some rounds through it right away. As you've probably read already, the RSA tends to be very stiff out of the box. I generally break in a new Canik with a couple boxes of NATO. Since yours is used, the RSA may be loosened up for you already. After a short break i...

Re: My sf elite brought home the gold today

Nice! As much as I love my CZ P07, nothing compares to my Elite or Elite Combat. Well, my SFx is great too, but for some reason the Elite has been the best damn pistol I've over owned. I do have the fat daddy in my SFx, have yet to install one in an Elite. Anyway, great shooting!

Re: Anyone have a SA XD Mod.2?

I've never owned a Mod2. I did have an XDs, which was a decent shooter. But I sold it off a couple years ago after the political nonsense. I know there's a lot of happy XD owners, so I'm sure you'll be happy with it. I personally didn't care for the grip safety, but it's a non-issue, as I never had ...

Sounds like a nice day at the range. My SFx with a red dot never disappoints either. Can't wait to start shooting outdoors again.

Re: Is Anyone using one of our SA Barrels in a Mod 2.0 SA?

I wouldn't think they are compatible since the slide milling on the Mod2 is different than the original SA. Same issue as the V2 and DA. The lug on the V2 and the original SA is more angular than the Mod2 and the DA. I know that on the Century website the barrels listed for the SF and SA Mod2 are li...

Re: Rear Sight on TP9SA will not Budge

I'm surprised even with a sight pusher the rear sight won't move. I've yet to experience any difficulty adjusting the sights on one of the many Caniks I own. My gunsmithing skills are pretty limited, so unfortunately I don't have much to offer. I wonder though if soaking it in gun oil for awhile wou...

Re: which magazine?

I shoot with both. Eventually I'll add a couple more of the +3's when funds allow. But for now, I shoot with the 15 rounders as well. If I ever decide to put the EC into my carry rotation, I'd be carrying the 15's.

Ditto. I do carry a small Olight pocket flash light, but no weapon mounted lights on my carry guns.

Re: New truck and house gun.

The DA is an excellent pistol. I do agree though about the trigger being a little gritty. My DA triggers just aren't as smooth out of the box as my V2 or other Canik triggers. Like you, I installed the Galloway Precision reduced power spring kit in one of my DA's and it made a difference. My other t...

Re: Springfield XDe - sight adjustment results

Wow, that's crazy. I've been interested in the XDe, but my father in law bought one and his shoots really low. So, I've held off on buying one for awhile now and this post isn't very promising either. I'd send the pic to Springfield. Maybe they'll send him a call tag and take a look at it. If I had ...

Re: Elite Combat

First chance to get to the range after purchasing the EC. I ran assorted ammo ( WWB, Federal and Hornady), FMJ and JHP and 147,124 and 115gr through it without one hiccup. Only 300rds but very impressed, the EC is very accurate when I do my job. This is my first Canik, but not my last. Great to hea...

Yet half of the country doesn't get it...
Or doesn't even care. That's what's really depressing. And even though people know it's wrong, they still think it's "right", because they are the justice warriors.
