Whats the story on that compact you posted @Janik ???
Not available in the U.S. unfortunately. Doesn't meet the requirement for importing. Only way to get one here is for Canik/Century Arms to build a facility and manufacture them here.

Re: Canik TP9 LC at SHOT Show

Yeah was going to say it doesnt even have the combats trigger. I'd rather have the EC. With 1100msrp probably looking at close to $1k total by the time you leave your FFL with it, I'm sure its a nice pistol and all but $1000 makes for some good options with cheaper pistols and lots of aftermarket a...

Re: Holsters

I don't know though, it seems to me that an Elite Combat with red dot is a big heavy piece of steel to wear IWB. Definitely would be for me. I'm considering a Wonder for my CZP07, which that too would be a little big for me to IWB. But I'm getting bored carrying my Walther P99c and want to mix it u...

Re: Canik TP9 LC at SHOT Show

Yeah I'll be passing on this one for sure. Basically they gave L2D some SF's to do a collaborative project on. I'm not familiar with L2D, but evidently they must be a big name to command such a high price tag. Makes the Elite Combat look like a heck of a deal. There's no way I'd be paying $900+ str...

Re: Canik TP9 LC at SHOT Show

FYI, just found out MSRP on these pistols is $1100. I don't think I'll be adding one to my collection anytime soon. Makes the Elite Combat, that's now below $600 on some websites a really good deal. Plus, the Elite combat internals are coated, which is why the trigger feels so smooth, according to C...

Re: Canik MRDS Number 2 Sight Plate

I sent mine off to Galloway Precision a couple months ago to have them duplicate the plates. Contact @GallowayPrecision and find out where there at with the process. Maybe they will have them available soon.

Re: 2019 Shot Show News.....

P10S is on my radar. I'd like to add one to my collection once the hype wears off and prices normalize once released. P10F will probably be added to my collection as well.

Re: Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forum. Glad to see more Tristar owners joining the group. I've yet to own one myself, but the C100 has been on my short list for awhile. Congrats on the Elite and welcome again.

New Cartridge, the 350 Legend

Winchester is releasing the 350 Legend this year. Winchester claims it's the fastest straight-walled cartridge in the world. IDK, maybe it would be good for some hunters. I don't think it's a cartridge I'll invest in, but I'm sure there's some who will. https://www.gunsamerica.com/digest/winchester-...

Re: Gun goes click but no bang sometimes

Hi Folks, New forum member here. First - It was really awesome to come across this forum. Lots of great info. Thanks for keeping it going. I am seeing this 'gun goes click but no bang' issue on a stock TP9SFX. Mine's new, purchased a few months ago. I've run 3 boxes of Winchester NATO spec trough i...

Re: Lumpy from Lubbock

Welcome to the forum, and I highly recommend the Elite. It's an outstanding firearm. Though I have many striker fired, for EDC I primarily stick to DA/SA. Also, glad to see another Tristar owner on here. We need more conversations regarding the hammer fired options from Canik. Welcome again.

I'll second Clinger I have bought a couple of the no print wonders. I haven't paid too much attention to Clinger holsters. I'll have to look at them more closely. Heres 2 of mine, the cheapest basic iwb and the more expensive ($30 and $50 is what i paid) adjustable one. They're both pretty good hol...

Re: New guy

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Elite. Canik makes some excellent guns, and though I don't dislike any other manufacturers, Canik just fits me the best. I ended up selling off the rest of my Glocks and several others after I got my Elite. I do still have some CZ's and Walthers though. Welco...

Re: Patriots heading to the Superbowl, again

Brady has no choice but to play at least one more season, there is no replacement in place!!! No kidding. Once Brady is gone, I think the Patriots will fade into obscurity for a long time. If they win the Super Bowl, I hope Brady retires. I'd personally rather go out on a high note. But after all t...

Elite Combat $595 at TSS Warehouse

The Elite Combat is $595 at TSS Warehouse. I've personally never ordered from them, but I've heard positive things from others who have.
