Re: Hipocrit fan boys( and girls)

I'm definitely a Canik fan, but I never snub my nose at other peoples choices. Well, unless it's a Jennings 22 or something. Had one and it was a jam-o-matic. Anyway, sold off the last of my Glocks when I got my Elite. I really wanted to like Glock, but I just shoot Canik so much better. I really wa...

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

Am I the only one that actually likes the Taurus G2C? Easy conceal size, double stack, not a bad trigger(I’m switching it out soon, thanks Galloway) extremely easy on the wallet, got it polished it lubed it shot it, no issues 1000+ rounds so far G2C has been on my radar for awhile, and I'm about to...

Re: First time with TP9SA

I had a couple new Caniks in the past where initially the slide wouldn't lock back. I put a little mark on the foot of the mags that displayed the issue and I monitored them. The issue seemed to resolve itself and I didn't have anymore issues with the mags. I figure I either limp wristed the last ro...

Re: ADE RD3-012 Red Dot Optic

Unfortunately,it appears that the model you managed to find for $55, the RD3-012, has experienced a rather dramatic price increase during the past few months. Holy Crap!! You aren't kidding. I just clicked on my orders link from Amazon where I purchased it, and they are selling for $250 and up now....

Docter red dot is great, I did just 100 shoots but very accurate.
Thanks for the info. I've been interested in the Docter red dots for awhile now. I'll have to take a closer look at them.

I don't have one, but it's been on my radar for a long time. Too many "wants", never enough money. :(

Re: Sight dovetails?

Yes, same footprint. However, the SFx rear sight is wider, so some companies like Night Fision make specific sets for the SFx. Check the Advantage Tactical website before you buy to see if there's a different listing for the SFx.

I also asked if they had any ideas on pin removal, and so far it's been two days and no answer. I'll post back when I get this resolved.
Definitely report back. I've yet to strip down my Elite or Combat because of pin issues. Keep us posted.

Re: From anxious to floored with SFX

Great first impressions review. Regarding NATO, I own several Caniks and usually only a couple boxes is required before I start shooting the weaker stuff. All my Caniks will eat anything I feed them, including S&B, WWB, Fiocchi, Blazer, etc. These Caniks are built tough and like it hot, but they wil...

Re: Improving my techniques...a journey

Excellent! Definitely keep us posted on your progression, and what does or does not seem to be of much value. I myself bought a laser trainer for home over the winter, and it's definitely helped with my trigger discipline. I didn't know if I'd use it very much, but I do use it quite a bit.
