Re: Which TP9 Would Be the Best All-Around Choice.

Based on your recommendation, I need to consider adding a DA to my stable. I have three DA's and three V2's, awesome guns. And the reduced power spring kit from Galloway Precision makes a difference in double action. However, given time, the trigger also smooths out and the trigger pull with lighte...

Re: Which TP9 Would Be the Best All-Around Choice.

Really depends on intended purpose. I'm still a fan of DA/SA handguns, so for me the best all around is the V2 or DA. They are double/single action striker fired. But, the absolute best Canik I own would be the Elite Combat. The Elite is also phenomenal, but I like the flat trigger and flared magwel...

Re: New Member From Nashville, TN

I also love the new Taurus pistols. Particularly the G2C, the TH9 and the TX22. First time I handled a G2C I sold my S&W Shield 9mm to get one. G2C and TX22 are on my short list. The TH9 intrigues me as well since I still love DA/SA handguns. With that said, I own a few hammer fired CZ's that are o...

Re: New Member From Nashville, TN

Welcome to the forum, I still EDC a Walther P99c since Canik has yet to release something in comparable size. I really like Walthers, but the Canik in my humble opinion edges them out. For me personally, they fit my hands a little better and they are just more accurate. May not be everyone's experie...

Re: Just picked up my TP9DA

Thanks guys. Got a hundred rounds of 124 grain NATO ready to go - and the slide locked back since I finished cleaning her up. Now I just have to make sure the Wife doesn't try to steal it from me! My DA's and V2's have been good about not having feeding issues during break in like some of my other ...

Re: Just picked up my TP9DA

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the DA. It's an excellent handgun, and a great shooter. I own a couple of them since I'm a fan of DA/SA handguns for conceal carry.

Re: FMK Patriot

I was interested in them, but I've heard around the internet they have some problems. I'll stick with Canik and Sarsilmaz for now. Hope they get the bugs worked out since I like to support American made whenever possible. Still on my radar, just not quite there yet.

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

I think you'd need a "mainstream" manufacturer to adopt that size of cut before you see optics manufacturers changing their designs to accommodate it. Are there any other pistols out there that have this smaller cut? I've been told the SHIELD red dot is very popular in Europe, and used by British m...

Re: New favorite pistol

I'd love to get a Shadow 2 if I could afford it, but unfortunately I can not. I have a CZ P07 and P09 however, and I think they are outstanding. And I haven't even Cajunized them, leaving them stock for now.

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

This is nice request but i dont think any professional company will share marketing Strategic data with 3th part person. You may sure there is no reason Sub elite will not sale in US market. It is matter of time. The reps at Century Arms keep hinting this Summer or Fall. I really hope so. I'll be a...

Re: My First Canik

I really need to add a Holosun to my red dot collection soon. A lot of great reviews on them. But in order to do that, I'll need to buy another gun so it has a place to go. I guess I better buy another SFx so I can justify buying the Holosun. As for the mag release, I have the small one on now, but...

Re: How Canik TP9 Trigger Safety Works Video

zeda3000 I chose Canik too for the same reasons. They are one of the few manufacturers that seem to really try and offer a variety of guns for everyone. Such as safeties, decockers, double/single action, etc. Plus, Canik is very responsive to customer feedback, and makes changes or addresses issues...
