Re: Hello from the Florida Panhandle

Hey Dedsqirrl, where in the panhandle are you? I'm from over in Walton County, DeFuniak Springs. Mother still lives there so I get down there every once in a while. Pensacola. Home of the Blue Angels! I used to do a lot of work out there between Freeport and Crestview. Spent a lot of time in Mossyh...

Re: NEW TO CANIK-HELLO EVERYONE

OM38, don't sell yourself short. There are quite a few of us beat-up old guys that still have fun competing in practical games, although it's within class and not for HOA. Like you, I also like the international disciplines, including pistol and shotgun. Still have the "want-to", just a little short...

Re: Will the SAI magwel like from the Combat Elite also fit the SFX mod 2?

Thank you for the info. I'm surprised no one on this board had an answer as there are some very knowledgeable and experienced folks here. I'm not necessarily one of them. I have the SFx but can't use a mag well in the class I use it to compete in. Hope you enjoy the pistols as much as the rest of u...

Patience... they'll get back to you. Right now EVERYONE is overwhelmed with the panic buying, etc.. They're good folks and will take care of you as soon as they can.

Re: TP9SFX OWB holster (with light)

Welcome aboard! Many (most?) of us are using our TP9SFx's for competition purposes, so while we have holsters, they're mostly designed for that, not for "carry", at least that I've seen. The OWB holster that came with my SFx is actually pretty good from what I can tell, but it's not "competition" fo...

Re: Glock trigger upgrade

Well, any process can be screwed up, but for most people with decent dexterity and an understanding of just what they're doing, the "average" gun owner can probably do it. Biggest problem is replacing the striker spring as it can get away from you and shoot the retainers into a microscopic black hol...

Re: Just Bought a Canik TP9SFx, can't wait to tune it, bought $150 upgrades

Welcome from the state of Jefferson. I shoot competition, mostly up to state level. The ONLY thing I did to mine was put a Fast Fire III on it. I hold my own with the young pups, and I am 67 years old. Hey there, Gunn! I turn 67 next month. I'm also shooting a TP9SFx with a Fastfire III on it.... I...

Re: The Blue Bullet

Blue Bullets started washing their bullets as the final step in production in order to remove the blue residue you're talking about, so they don't make your fingers blue anymore. Load clean now. But those others you mentioned are good also, as well as Brazos. Good shooting!! Ben
