Re: Lessons from Real Life Shootings

Great job by that officer. This video will live on for years in close combat training scenarios.

Cuttin’ it

I bought a Pelican Vault 200 case to transport my SFx and am looking for any advice on how to cleanly make a cutout around the pistol in the foam. Someone told me an electric kitchen knife works but I don’t know about how clean that would be. Any TTPs would be most appreciated!

Re: New P365....Sucks!

Got my Sig back, very fast turnaround, and the armorer’s report said it met all factory specs. Took it to the range yesterday and no difference, scratchiest trigger I’ve ever pulled. The range had a new one for sale so I asked if I could try the trigger. Exactly the same. So far three competitive sh...

Re: Hello from France Cote d'Azur

Bonjour! and welcome to the forum! I would be very interested to know how you plan to use your pistol in France. Do you have practice ranges, can you concealed carry, etc. Please let us all know!

Re: New P365....Sucks!

The Sig instructions were clear about identifying to FedEx that it contained a firearm and the label showed right on top that the addressee was Sig Sauer. Just tryin’ to cooperate and graduate. What do you think would have happened if the package had been sniffed by a dog and alerted?

Re: New P365....Sucks!

Everyone makes a bum pistol once in a while. My P365s (have 5) all run 100% have from day 1 round 1. Five? A nice guy would send a good one to geo to change his mind on the model. Then he could send his sour one to me. Hey, I am a problem solver. I’d take that deal! Speaking of sending weapo...

Re: New P365....Sucks!

I did oil it last night but the trigger is still move-stop-move-stop-move-stop all the way through a slow, steady pull, take up included. Sig was very helpful when I called this morning so good on them. I have to double box it along with the magazines and drive 35 miles to a FedEx main hub to send i...

New P365....Sucks!

Picked up my new P365 from the FFL at the range today and ran around 125 rounds through it. Totally disappointed. Worst piece I’ve ever had in my hand and very surprising given Sig Sauer’s reputation. After putting preset pressure on the trigger it would stop 2-3 times as I pulled steadily. Very scr...

Maglulas are the best. But where did they get that name??? Lol.

Magazine loaders and unloader accessories. Sounds like something the military would use! Look here:

TP9 Series differences

I have a TP9SFx and love it. I know that mine has a “match grade” barrel. But, the TP9 is a whole series of pistols each with different features. Can someone point me to or describe the differences in each model? Curious minds want to know! Thanks in advance.

Is Classic Firearms screwing you too?

I ordered two in-stock items from these guys, the first on May 13th the second on May 15th. The second item was pulled from the shelve in two days and I received it two days later. The first item, a pistol, sat on the shelve for a week and after writing Customer Service It was pulled from the shelve...

I get mine from McMaster-Carr but just Google “gas struts” and you’ll come up with a bunch of suppliers.

Re: Vortex Viper on a Pic rail

The thing is, I recently had cataract surgery with a state of the art toric lens implanted. Supposed to give you eyes like a 21 year-old. The thing is it also causes point light like a red dot to have a “starburst” effect. Look below and you’ll see what I mean. So a classic black line reticule is th...

We’ll see. Did not want an elevated sight but it might work in my 15/22. Let you know.

Vortex Viper on a Pic rail

I got my Vortex as part of a package with my SFx and not crazy about it. Think I’m going back to iron sights, maybe a Truglo, but would like to try the Vortex on a 15/22 with a Pic rail. I looked for a mount on their website but all they had was a weird 45 degree mount. Is there some other way to do...

Re: Got that Sig P-365 today.............

Please keep us posted. I ordered one from Classic Firearms last week but it’s still sitting on the shelf because of their huge order volume and CV constraints. In anticipation I bought two extended mags and tried to load them. Both of my speed loaders which work just fine with the Canik mags couldn’...

Re: What does your screen name mean?

A long time ago far, far away I was a gunner on a helicopter gunship serial number 64-14084. The convention was to use our platoon’s radio call sign along with last three numbers of the tail number to identify each aircraft. Our platoon’s call sign was “Joker” so my bird was Joker 084. If you take t...

Re: TP9SFX Vortex Viper & Maglula speed loader

Thanks! Getting one. I also have an S&W M&P 15/22 that I’m looking for a speed loader for. I have a “Lightin’ Grip” loader but don’t like it because it pushes on the rim of a rim fired cartridge and I don’t think that’s a good idea.
