Ergonomically they're not really that close. Look especially at the width. Plus the edges of the sig are much smoother. Also note the weight difference. Don't get me wrong, I love my canik, but it's much thicker and edgier than a lot of carry guns. YMMV but for me, thickness plays the most part in c...

Yup. I agree. I found the elite sc just too thick for a compact. Canik needs to rethink it's subcompact ergonomics and make it slimmer. It's the exact same thickness as their full size. For me, it was just as comfortable to just carry the full size and have the increased capacity.

I had this same issue. Once I put the larger back strap on, it went away (I have larger hands). Something about the more narrow back strap put my thumb knuckle against the corner (yes I'm using a proper grip) and caused a blister.

It's worth a shot.

Around $50 shipped is a bit steep for a single mag. Jeesh.

14.99 shipping for an item that weighs an ounce is ridiculous.

Guess I'll wait until they hit some other stores.

That's for extra 12 & 15 round mags for the SC. So, hopefully soon.

The whole craze with buying SC guns, then adding extra capacity mags (or mods to the stock mags to handle more rounds) baffles me. .... The last ting I want to do is make my purpose built and purchased carry guns larger. .... I suspect it's mostly done for fun, cosmetics, and the feeling of having ...

Ugh. You'd think upon release they'd have extra mags factored in. Time to play the waiting game.

I've been appendix carrying a full size TP9SA for over two years. It's the only place I can conceal that weapon and not have to finger f*** my cover garment all day like at four o clock (where I used to carry) to make sure its concealed and have it smack against everydamnthing in it's way. AIWB. Watch the Texas church shooting video. 4 oclocker couldn't draw fast enough and it cost him his life. Despite practice, under stress it's still more awkward and telling to draw. YMMV but I won't risk it.
