Re: SSISATR

LOTS of women shooters Be prepared to "nicely" and "politely" explain to some shoots how a low cut or V-neck blouse is not safe on the line. Being an RSO at an outdoor range without station dividers, it is a frequent discussion. I have never had any female shooters get mad at me for having the talk...

Re: Sold my very first gun - it was a Canik

Maybe we need to start a SSISATR thread for the RO's too. Working the day after Christmas can be both funny and dangerous. I shudder at that thought (Day after Christmas) .... Part if my duties is that I get to spend a couple of hours each day in the range itself.... I get a pretty bright red...

Re: New Canik Owner-TP9SFX Break in

Welcome From Kingwood Tx. When I got my SFX I ran about 6 boxes of Seller Bellot (nato spec) 115gr through it. Never has a problem. I did have a lot of problem with Midwest ammo, but it will shoot everything else with a problem. It will even shoot my lite hand loads with the Blue springfrom Century ...

Thank you for the warm welcome. I purchased a TP9 Elite SC in tungsten. No pictures of targets getting pulverized yet but it's cleaned and ready to hit the range.

Re: New Weaponized Content...

I’ll need to pay attention to this thread. I just pulled out a old Bushmaster AR that only has about 50 rounds through it. I pulled the A2 sight/gas block off & installed a low profile gas block, so I could mount a scope on the pica tiny rail. My eyes have gone bad, can’t see the targets passed 20 y...

I got really bored with this stay at home order, so I sat down and cast up about 400 120 gr tc bullets.

About to go load them, 4.2 CFE, Oal set by plunk test.

Welcome to the world of handloading. I have been doing it for over 60 years. Great relaxation/Stress Relief.
Yup! A great way to relax for me.

For those of you that don’t have drill press, Lee makes a anvil & punch set for about $15.00

I think they list it as a decapper & base.

I’m not working,I haven’t worked since mid February.

Has a part time job at a local gun range, but it got be not worth the effort.

When the virus quarantine subsides, I’ll go find a job.

Just doing some side work, fixing old Vintage dirt bikes for now.

Re: Corona Virus Ammo Thread - Online Availability

I’ve been through too many of these ammo shortages before!

I tend not to panic & pay high prices for the short term.

I’m glad I know how to reload & cast my own bullets, I can also swag my own jacketed bullets.

This is something you should think about doing Yourself!
