Thank the founders for the electoral college.
Both are good but only come with one magazine. If you have no other Canik I would say the Elite. I would buy the SF because I already have a compact Canik and I have a lot of 18 mags. Congrats whatever you choose.
GlennSFX has a pic of his kit on the Canadian IPSC thread.

I have both and they are both great. The SFx is very accurate. I can reliably ring 60% silhouettes at 100 yards in the offhand with it and small targets inside 30 yards feel easy. Both pistols barrels are cold hammer forged and match grade. I shoot better and faster with the SFx than the Executive.
I make sure the magazine pulls freely and smoothly but is secure enough that it won't fall out from running. That near half of it sticks out of the pouch. That it is canted away from my body enough that my thumb fits between the mag and my flab without restriction and that the pouch is attached rigi...

The trigger on the Executive (Salient) is much better out of the box than an SFx trigger. My SFx trigger required work to get to the level it is at now and still not as great. The Executive was exceptional immediately, as you experienced.
Not from there but my advice is to just sign up go and shoot. Nobody cares about your score but you so don't be nervous. Just be safe. At my first match I had two goals: 1 Be safe, 2 Don't get a DQ. Getting the first one done is a big step. GO FOR IT BRO! Good luck and we are with you.

So it (along side the MK IV I ordered) is here. Got here on Friday morning last week. After speaking with Classic Rando friday afternoon (Rando doesn't do mornings) I am certain that I will take delivery at some point when he deems it appropriate to show up at his gun store and give me a call (Rando...
If I decide to shoot any rifle calibers over 223, I'll probably get some 1/2" targets. I have used M855 and M193 on the Champion branded 3/8" AR 500 at 100 yards. It does damage the steel. It leaves small pock marks. Have had no such issue with plastic tip bullets. Barnes Varmint grenades...
Nice set Janik. This is similar to what we do. It's so quick and easy to throw up and tear down steels wherever you shoot with these stands. We shoot my steels almost exclusively. The 2x4s are shot to shit but still hold steel fine and are cheap and easy to replace. Most retailers will cut them in s...
I concur with LT, mine ded. Yes you can ship it back, yes the warranty is great. Just wish the device was as great as the warranty. I hear Trijicon calling in the distance.
I have had two flubs in all of the many boolats I have pushed through my sfx and would say it is pretty darn reliable. Some of my people also have tp9s of one type or another and they all work as one should expect with a beginning hiccup and then reliable performance thereafter. I did way too much r...
