Re: TP9SFX

As I recall from the group on Facebook, it isn't an actual crack. It appears to be one but isn't. There was a large group of frames that came out looking like that. It was a huge discussion about six months ago. From what I remember, there is not structural issues, just looks odd.

Re: What red dot sights will work on TP9 SFx?

Some guys have bought an ADE from Amazon. You have to modify it a bit to fit but, it will mount with modification. However, remember with sights as with most things, sometimes you get what you pay for. The ADE was in the $40-75 range last time I looked.

Canik Tp9SA $299.99

Haven't done business with this company but the price is cheap. Also available in tan.

Re: New TP9SFX owner, got a couple questions.

Also the longer barrel of the sfx will make the front sight look smaller. Don't know if you have any other longer barreled hand guns, 5" or longer. But the sight on my elite looks bigger than the one on my sfx and they measure the same size. Just something to consider.

Re: Where to find tungsten grey sfx magazines??

I believe black is all that is available. I rember reading somewhere, "quite possibly the old forum", but black is all that will be produced from Canik moving forward. To my knowledge black is all that is currently availed from aftermarket producers as well.

Re: Eject problems.

Exact same issues with my sfx first time out. Switched to 124 grain NATO rounds. Runs like a champ. No failure to feeds or eject. Was almost like a completely different pistol.

These triggers look fantastic. I am curious though, with the reduced pre-travel, is the firing pin block safety still functional? If anyone has any input on this that would be great!
Retains all safety's if installed properly.
