Re: question for the canik gurus

Be careful running lighter springs with factory ammo. They tend to run a little hot and could prematurely beat up your gun. Most folks that run lighter springs (RSA, striker fire spring, and reduced plunger power spring) reload to hit minor power factor aka, less gunpowder to achieve less recoil for...

Love the looks on there faces when we tellem to Fu#$off. Apparently not so PC, oops. A little different ...

Retired fireman with California pension living in Az. So far Calpers says aokay. But the state, AKA Gavin Newsome and govenors before him, have stole, which is illegal, from Calpers. We'll see. We survived the 08 recession, however, this is a whole different animal. Good luck to you all, my brothers...

Re: Shot my first 1911, and was amazed!

I can see why so many shooters love these guns...they're just so enjoyable to shoot! Best wishes, I hear ya! Until a year ago, I had no interest in 1911's, or shooting that large of a wad of led. Just looked plain "clunky" to me to shoot. However, I have always been fascinated with the history, and...

The 32 mil circle will fit perfectly around an 8" steel plate at 24 yards. Out to that distance, big circle on steel, pull trigger, steel goes clang. Taco, What LT said for sure. That reticle is the ticket for steel, whether it be Steel Challenge or poppers for USPSA paper. On the poppers, just thi...

Re: What's on your "must have" buy list for 2020?

Next month will be my One-Year anniversary of SFX ownership, and competition with it. I have 3 other Caniks, two of which I also compete with. Since the day I walked onto my homerange to check out the sport, and the following weeks/months thereafter, I have spent more money on guns n gear than I eve...

Re: G***k convert in the Frigid North

Just need to figure out what recoil spring to get Welcome, also from Arizona. You can email Century Arms customer support and request their lighter spring at no cost to you under their warranty. I use this spring to shoot a 147grn RN FMJ/130PF in competition, and works very well, with no hickups. I...

Re: What does your screen name mean?

Very creative way to get people to yack for the first time, I like it. Mine is fairly boring, maybe.... Tucker is one of my favorite dogs, in my years. A very humble, yet protective German Shephard who got bit by a rattlesnake and died in the backyard of my home in Arizona in 2003. A way to never f...
