I am a long time ex Bullseye military shooter and have shot all kinds of matches for years since those days, if the enjoyment factor just to shoot counts I win every match! Much more fun now though, I WAS Expert in Bullseye, 3 IDPA classes and A in IPSC, AA 27 A in Reg Trap. I had my glory days. Now...

Just depends on what volume you shoot or think you will, not being negative but 2000 9's a year to me would not justify loading and casting, not even counting the 45 acp, my favorite. Break that down to a month or less and you have an entirely different issue. Just depends on how much you wish to sh...

There is no better practice than shooting a match: pistol, rifle or shotgun, they combine all the things practice does not, shoot all you can of them and see which ones you like the best. I have no idea of what public ranges are costing now to shoot at but look at that cost to stand and blast vs a m...

The Duel matches we shot had falling and turning targets, movement, prone, standing, shoot up and down hills, they were the best, I do miss them. What a change we saw from Bullseye stand and shoot. Lots of longer shots as we were used to shooting 50 yds.
