Re: Sarsilmaz pistol comments

Heh, yeah. Just got the Elite and it's a tight fit in the holster I have for the SFX so I have the SFX paddle holster (no button to press) until I pick up one for it. Not the greatest but better than nothing for the range.

Re: Sarsilmaz pistol comments

So while loading up my case to hit the range tomorrow, I noticed something odd. The mags that I got with my SAR 9 have different baseplates. At least the buttons are different. Just an odd quirk. Curious to what other people got with their SAR 9s. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-SJv8zIlnkI_z9OvTt...

I have one for my SFx and I really like it. They make one for the SF too.
Just got mine that I picked up from the Memorial Day sale. Haven't taken it out to the range yet but so far it seems quite nice.

Re: Any one tried one of these Speed loaders

The thing that appears to be a potential issue with this loader is it may not be completely universal. Watching a quick video, those slots along the bottom grab onto the base plate of the magazine to hold it at the correct height for loading. So, you need to have those slots line up perfectly for yo...

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

@Janik I am sharing final and confirmed information under this subject for other user. I just spoke with Canik factory Tech Team , Sub Elite will come only with single Red dot adaptor which is Sheld brand name only. Other red dot will not fit to Sub model Thank you. I thought I had read somewhere i...

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

I still like the SE but with the limits that slide cut will impose, it would be really nice if they released a model without the slide cut which would hopefully shave a bit off the cost too. I'm sure they will sell but I have a feeling that many folks might shy away from a higher price tag for an op...

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

Interesting and disappointing. Did they happen to give you the dimensions of the plate? Is it this sight? https://www.shieldpsd.com/shop-2/rmsc-reflex-mini-sight-compact-8moa If so, at $380USD, that will be tough to swallow It's a tough decision between losing your rear sights or keeping them and b...

Re: My First Canik

Interesting. Perhaps a topic better placed in the Sub Elite thread or a thread of it's own. However, looking at this photo, the cut does indeed look smaller. Assuming the rear serrations are the same size on both guns, I count 10 serrations on the SFX and SE. The SE definitely has a thinner mounting...

Re: How Canik TP9 Trigger Safety Works Video

There's also quite a bit of irony that those areas/states on that map that show the hightest amounts of homicides are also generally the states with the tightest gun control laws. While not every homicide is committed with a gun, it still goes to show that gun control does not stop bad people from d...

Agreed. If the gun is exposed then I'd want some other level of retention. For concealed carry, I let my tactical muffin-top function as retention :)

Re: Sarsilmaz pistol comments

Well, the only logical solution would seem to be to buy one and let us all know :D

Or I guess you might try to contact SAR USA but that seems like the boring route to take.

So if it's the same frame and slide, can you just swap barrels and mags for different calibers? Maybe I'm reading that wrong

Canik models doesnt Comes with Safety in US Models , but my model has safety. Your Canik has a safety? TP9 series? Did I miss this earlier? Please post pictures. Elite-S? Actually, it's an Elite Combat with the safety on the trigger guard. You can see it in the photo below. If I recall, he has ment...

Leather Blanket for over Knee, This is very life saver for free systle jumping springs from Pistols during assembly. New pistols have many small springs ready fly away from pistol. I've yet to lose any pistol springs, however AR springs are another story, launch one into the ceiling fan and good lu...

Re: Need opinions

Ok, so you're prices are about double of what we can get stuff here then. Actually though, since that's Canik's site, is that their MSRP or is that the actual cost? Here in the US at least, manufacturers will list an MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) but it's often quite inflated from wha...

Re: Need opinions

Yikes! $2400 USD for a Glock? Save your money. I don't hate Glocks but I'm no fanboy either. They are decent, reliable pistols but not worth that price.

Re: Need opinions

I agree with TL1000RSquid. An Elite can be found for just over $300 ($320 shipped). I'd take a G45 in a second for that price. Now, it also comes down to what you are using it for. I don't have a G45...yet, but I have a 19 and shoot a 17 here and there. To me, there is a huge difference in their gr...
