Re: Threaded barrel - yes or no?

I will only join the suppressor team if and when they remove the tax stamp requirement to own one. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm in no way supporting the tax stamp but I could at least deal with it. It's the year long wait that's a killer for me. Then again, between the wait and the s...

Re: Threaded barrel - yes or no?

Step 1: Buy a suppressor Step 2: Buy guns that can host the suppressor Step 3: Realize that you need a suppressor for each gun Rinse and repeat https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/ACtC-3fdtLPnkYqZj5rYpNWQ4kZQt6kPh0MkFn4sUai9fJDUeEiQyV1Ct54CAZF7d3wj35AWu49BXsmWdTCOq92HebICZp_E7NYavYabJe6B2t_nXjriyW7...

Re: Intro and a question "TP9 DA Barrel swap"

Here is what my SA Mod 2 looks like with a threaded barrel added. Looks a bit different from that video. I either got the barrel from Prepper Gun Shop or Century Arms, can't remember which. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/ACtC-3fOg-nJdxlUOeXwz83TokP0dJTvv2pf8XtJBIGi8zjpDp79DVNNBCH0IWOIKJwsLziKo...

Re: Streak visual ammo

never messed with pistol tracers, have some in 5.56, 7.62 NATO, 7.62x54r, and 7.62x39. Might want to becareful is the range is dry and grassy. The steak stuff doesn't burn. There's basically a glow material on the back of the bullet that is charged by the burning of the powder. To the OP, does the ...

Re: Streak visual ammo

I watched a video on it and it has to be pretty dark for you to see the phosphorescence. In the video basically it was so dark that the shooter couldn't see his non-night sights.

Re: Picked up a Tuarus TX22

Yeah, I already have the P22. Mostly for the wife to shoot but it's fun with a suppressor. Been itching to get another .22 pistol.

Re: Picked up a Tuarus TX22

Is there a threaded barrel for the tx22? Most come with a threaded barrel. That's the default except in states that don't allow them. The barrel comes with a thread protector installed and an adapter to 1/2 x28 in the box. Gotcha, just like a Walther P22. Finally had a chance to look up a video on ...

Really nice. I've been wanting to paint an AR or two of mine, never get around to it. Like the Kryptex style you did.
Thanks. I actually use some material made to be like a spider web that I found at JoAnn around Halloween a few years back. Works well.

Re: Quarantine Builds?

Finally got this guy done. It is a 5.7 x 28 AR using the CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback barrel and bolt along with their 40 round magazine that fits in a standard AR lower. Won't be the cheapest toy to feed but should be fun. Even did a custom rattle can paint job on it. https://lh3.googleusercontent....

Re: How cheap am I being?

I do that, sort of. Any extra dots I have I cut out and put in my bag. Go the the dollar store and get paper plates and then put a dot in the middle as a target. Works just fine unless you are really looking for precision and costs, well, a dollar... :D

Re: Pew Pew from the Plains

Thanks. The PB in the model number would confirm Janik's statement of Patriot Brown I think. Still, I cannot find any record of the model or UPC on gun.deals or just a Google search. Just odd. https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/787450626294 https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/hg5610p...

Re: TP9 Elite SC colors

I actually wanted the Tungsten, but all they had was the Blackout. I just wanted it to match my SFx, in reality the Blackout is a better choice because the point of concealed carry is to be concealed. Hard to be if you’re blinging red and blue. I can understand modding any non carry gun, but carry ...

Re: Pew Pew from the Plains

That's pretty cool. Almost like an OD green...ish. I have seen the tungsten, blackout and even one with a bronze slide but no idea they were making these. Nowhere on Century Arms or Canik's websites do they show all of the colors available. If you get a chance can you get a photo of the UPC number ...

Re: New Weaponized Content...

That is a good deal. $40 for 1000 rounds of 300 BLK converted brass is nice too. I've made my own but I'd gladly pay $40 for that.

Edit: Actually already packed up 1000 cases and will ship them off in the morning.

As of right now it appears there is the Tungsten, Blackout, Bronze slide and Patriot Brown. Who knows what else is out there.
