Re: Differences between Elite Combat and Elite Combat Executive

I think you pretty much summed it up. It's all up to your preference and if you wanted to use a suppressor with a certain threading.

Re: Anyone shoot Precision Rifle?

I don't but I'd like to in the future. My club has a normal range out to 300 that I shoot often with AR's. They also have a 500yd range that is open a couple days a week with special events out past 1000.

I'm curious how those rimfire's do out to extended distances.

Re: Looking To Buy My First AR 15

So far, these have been great comments. My brother said the same thing about the Fostech trigger, but I thought it would be fun to play with. I think I will hold off on that until I am reloading regularly. I was originally going to build an AR, but as you can see by reading this thread, the two cam...

Re: Thinking About Getting Into Reloading, Any Suggestions?

I have a Franklin Arsenel Rotary Tumbler. It is a wet tumbler with little stainless pins in it. Works great with a couple drops of Dawn and a little LemiShine. Brass comes out nice after a few hours. I've got one of those tall dryers that was a gimmick thing several years back. The top dries at low ...

Re: Looking To Buy My First AR 15

I will also add, that if you want to move up to a little "better" quality, I really like stuff from Aero Precision like their M4E1 uppers and lowers. Below is a set that I am slowly putting together. I currently have the 9mm upper (shown with the FDE suppressor) and 300 BLK upper done. The 5.56 is c...

Re: Looking To Buy My First AR 15

PSA is a great starting point. I would recommend picking up one of their stripped lowers and then build the lower as LT says. A really cheap option is to look at one of their Freedome blemised kits that comes with an assembled upper and a lower parts kit. They can be found for around $300 and then t...

Re: Thinking About Getting Into Reloading, Any Suggestions?

There are also usually coupon codes for Acme bullets. I think right now you can really only find 10% off but they did run 20% off for quite a while. The benches I have are from Sam's Club. I have 3 now of different sizes and they come with a nice hardwood top. I made shelves for underneath to hold a...

Re: Thinking About Getting Into Reloading, Any Suggestions?

I started with an RCBS Rock Chucker single press because I was making cases and reloading for 300 BLK and it was nice for sizing the cases this way. A single stage press is great for when you are reloading for accuracy like for hunting or target loads. I then went to the Hornady LnL for "mass produc...

I’m keeping my eyes open for either a solid replacement spring and guide rod set or 124 gr NATO ammo.
You can contact Century Arms and they will send you a lighter RSA for free.

Re: Buying new vs used TP9SC Elite

That's a great deal for a LGS to run. I wish places around me would do the same. I'd love to keep my money local if they'd put in an effort to come close to online prices.

Re: Anybody use a Lee Factory Crimp Die

Meant to update this. I contacted Lee and they sent me a new die body to try but it had the same sticking. So, they had me send in the new body along with some of my empty cases. When they sent the body back there was a note saying that this body had a larger opening or interior diameter. I don't kn...

Hmm, looks just like my DA but mine doesn't say anything about Mod 2 on it. It does have the single side decocker.

Re: New Black Elite SC

Is there a photo of the DA Mod2? That's new as far as I know.

Is this the same UPC #? Some sites even say Mod 2 but it all looks like the original model.
