Re: New - Colored Graphic custom magazine baseplates

What's the durability of these on a mag? Especially a polymer base plate? Just wondering if they start peeling pretty quickly. Love the idea and design.

Re: Lever action or semi auto carbine?

After some thought and research, I found a great deal at my LGS on a Henry Golden Boy .22 magnum, octagon barrel. Really nice piece. A buddy of mine won one of those from a RMEF banquet a year or two ago. Very cool gun. His was only .22LR I think but still, they are beautiful and a hoot to shoot.

Re: What are you doing on the 4th

I'll be starting my 2 week vacation in Alaska. On the 4th we'll probably be stopping in Homer and then watching the salmon run in the Kenai River. It's crazy up there as any fireworks shows don't start until 11-midnight. Even then, it's still not really dark but darkish, enough to see the fireworks...

Re: What are you doing on the 4th

Ha! We’re doing the inside passage cruise from Vancouver to Anchorage! I’d rather just go and visit ... but it’s an extended family trip. Looking forward to it .... first time to AK. Sounds like fun. I've never been big into an Alaska cruise just for the fact that it can be so rainy and overcast th...

I''m not familiar with Ultra Dot. Do you know what mounting pattern they use or if they are compatible with Vortex or Trijicon mounts?

Re: Lever action or semi auto carbine?

I really like the Ruger PCC. Still kinda holding out for a 10mm though. Since I have 2 10/22 takedowns, I really like how it can be taken down to a very small size. Great for shoving in a backpack. But, since I have this lovely 9mm member of the band (lives in a ukulele case and in 10 months she'll ...

Did you happen to ask about the slide cut on the Sub Compact and if it would indeed only accommodate the smaller footprint RDS?

Re: I keep forgetting to post this

Just ordered some for my Elite. Thought I'd mention that at check out it wouldn't let me pay with an Amex even though it's listed as an possible form of payment. I kept getting an error that the merchant didn't accept this form of payment or something.

Re: AR10 stocks

Yeah, my 9mm AR runs something like a 9oz buffer since it's blowback. One thing you might do is get some tungsten buffer weights so you can add weight if you need. I picked some up off of ebay for fairly cheap. I actually run AR10 receiver extensions on some of my 5.56/300blk along with a Vltor buff...

Also keep in mind that when travelling at the speed of light, the Canik may or may not fire. If it does fire and the bullet exceeds the speed of light then you'll have have a whole bunch of geniuses pissed off at you. If it doesn't fire, well good. You didn't just shoot through your spacecraft ruptu...
