Re: Hats?

Janik, not sure if you've looked into it but Matt from Demolition Ranch (Youtube) has a merch business now called Bunker Branding. They do cap stitching. No idea what their rates are or quantities but he's a gun guy and even has Caniks in some of his videos.

Re: 1000 rounds of 9mm......800.00

I'd have to go digging through emails, but I bought a couple of boxes of HST from Target Sports USA during their last half price sale. After the discount and shipping, it still came out to ~$0.55/round. They have half price sales? I'll have to watch for those. Edit: Went back through my emails and ...

Re: Has the hoarding slowed down?

Stopped by Sam's as I needed to restock my blue shop towels (heavier duty paper towels). Yep, they were snatched up too. So we left with $100 in booze instead :D

Re: The new normal??

I'd love to see manufacturing come back but good luck finding employees. There are tons of open blue collar jobs now that aren't getting filled because nobody wants to work. There are some great videos from Mike Rowe on Youtube.

I need more guns...

Re: The Reloading Itch Has Started

In my Frankford Arsenal wet tumbler I just use water with a few drops of Dawn and a 9mm case full of LemiShine. Works great. Not sure if it would do the same in a ultrasonic cleaner but just a suggestion.

Re: Gun In FFL Jail

I have 6 "guns" (5 are AR lowers) at the FFL right now. We are under Stay at Home but I'm going to my FFL's house this evening to pick them up. At least one of us is obeying the stay at home mandate :)

Re: TP9SFX Whiteout

One thing you might consider while you've got some time is swapping out the front red fiber optic for a green one. I found that the green pops a little more and might help so you aren't distracted by two red dots in the sight window.

Re: New Model Pop Up CANİK TP9 SF METE

So this is an Elite with an optics cut or really a EC/ECE without a threaded barrel and the other SAI goodies? Somehow it's a few millimeters smaller in the dimensions and 2oz lighter. Edit: It doesn't have that little scalloped part at the front of the slide. Basically the slide stops right at the ...

Re: New member from OR

Also, thinking about your question more, I've done a bunch of backpack hunting in areas with bears and looked at ways to carry a handgun. Putting one on the shoulder strap just isn't a good idea. The shoulder strap can be loose or floppy at times and not only would that have the gun moving around bu...

Re: What's next?

With this free time the wife thinks we should clean around the house. Today I did some cleaning. The wife wasn't impressed. Also learned a valuable lesson. Don't wash mixed brass in a wet tumbler. It's amazing how many cases find themselves into other cases sometimes tripling up (380 in 40 in 45). T...

Re: Anyone in Quarantine or Shelter At Home?

Kansas City and surrounding counties have gone to "Stay at Home" for 30 days. Also heard that Indiana is now staying at home because I was a week away from picking up our new RV trailer that is almost done and now they've stopped production.
