Re: TP9SFL at the range

These pistols have a reputation for very stiff RSA springs due to their NATO specifications on development. Common practice is to purchase and break in with Winchester NATO 124g ( approx 100-150 rds) and then it will function with just about anything you feed it. I suspect that the lighter power Win...

Re: Love and hate, life with a Tristar

The T120/100 are ridiculously accurate so I don’t see how that’s a bad purchase. I just bought 4 replacement RSA springs and keeping a round count on it and see if I can avoid that crack happening. I love my T-100

Re: shooting high

Which accounts for the amount he had to shave off? Sounds like it was just a nasty tolerance error in manufacturing. It happens in all mass production. Just sucks when it’s you.

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

I agree. Now to decide to just keep the T-100 as my carry and then spend it on the 1911 project or the IWI that’s been calling out to me

Re: Favorite 22LR and why.

The M&P 22 full sized is a great one to consider as well. Good to know about TX22. I was going to grab one but will wait a few and see how this pans out.

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

We have been testing out the whole lot. And she really likes the smaller pistols. G 19 is still too big she thinks but doesn’t see the value of the smaller glocks since as she puts it..”trigger sucks and it looks just yuck”. The CZs she likes and also is shooting my Tristar T100 more and more ( whic...

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

My daughter is just chomping at the bit after seeing the latest of this thread. She has been toying with the Glock 19 and shoots it well but loves my SFx and just wishes it was smaller. I may get a father daughter pair when they hit the shelves

Re: Holosun 507c...fail boat

Ok now I am going insane. It’s been sitting next to me as I type all my stuff in to Holosun and now I pick it up and the reticle looks fine. Maybe first time warm up? I will mount it on SFx tonight and shoot it tomorrow to see if it is working. If it is then I am the failboat and just needed to let ...

Re: Holosun 507c...fail boat

Well Botach answered quick: Thank you for reaching out. My apologies you are having issues with this time. It sounds like it is a manufacturer defect, I would suggest reaching out to Holosun Directly and let them know the issues you are having. They should be able to exchange it out for you. Thank y...

Holosun 507c...fail boat

I was away last week visiting my grandson and got home to my Holosun 507c delivered on Friday by Botach. Ordered Monday. So not bad! Opened it up and read all the paperwork and turned it on....the reticle looks like it is being projected 3 times . I cycled through all 3 reticle options and you can s...

Re: Girsan .. hidden gem or stay away?

Ya the optic would be for my fathers enjoyment. He is not a fan of striker fire pistols and is a little old school. The 1911 is gun porn for him or a good revolver. The 1911 allows me to go 9mm easier if he thinks 45 is above his ability these days. I am probably sticking with 45 since it will undou...
