Re: TP9 SFX range report

Took my son shooting today and he shot the SFX with red dot for the first time. He is now a Canik Fanatic! He could not shoot his new 4.5" XDM 9 as accurate as the SFX. I put the lighter recoil spring in that Century sent and the SFX now shoots my lower power reloads just fine.

Re: Failure to eject

My SFX new would shoot 115g win white box with no problem. My 124gn low power reload would not eject. Stuck in the slide sideways. I got a lighter spring from Century and tried it today. Now the gun will cycle ok with my low power loads.

Re: TP9SFX with Freedomsmith Trigger Range Day!

Did you change any of the springs or just install the new trigger? I think that I will order the same trigger for my new TP9SFX soon.

Re: Sprinco vs. New Recoil Spring from Century

So did you try the Canik light spring? Century sent me one that came today but I have not tried it yet. It is the blue spring and it says 19lb on the invoice. What is the stock spring rated at?

Re: TP9 SFX range report

Thanks for the video. That looks great and better than stock. May have to try the trigger and springs.

TP9 SFX range report

The more that I shoot this the more I love it. It cycles great with normal 115gn ammo but my 124gn reloads were loaded to light for it with the stock spring. The trigger is good and I can live with the long take up but I wish that it had a nice crisp trigger break like my Sig. With the TP9 you hit t...

Re: Tp9sfx excessive wear

I have shot 200 rounds in my new TP9 SFX and it shows 1 ring on the barrel like the pictures but it is just starting. I have thousands of rounds through my Sig 228 and the blue is wearing but it is very smooth. So why are these wearing so bad. Poor quality metal? I wonder if I made a mistake buying ...
