Re: GunMagWarehouse backed up: 7 day order processing

I've been waiting on them to ship two mags for my Elite for two weeks!

Re: Need help stripping down an Elite S

I did the reverse. I drilled from the top down and I confess I elongated the hole slightly. I used a 5/16L x 1/16 diameter roll pin to replace what was in there. In spite of the hole opening up, it went in snug and I don't anticipate any troubles there. Incidentally, for those of you interested, tha...

Re: Need help stripping down an Elite S

I also asked if they had any ideas on pin removal, and so far it's been two days and no answer. I'll post back when I get this resolved. Definitely report back. I've yet to strip down my Elite or Combat because of pin issues. Keep us posted. OK, here's the scoop. After beginning to bend yet ANOTHER...

Re: Need help stripping down an Elite S

OK...here's the answer. The pin on the right side slide release must be removed....allegedly from the bottom. Other than that, the gun comes apart just like the SFX......this is the good part. The bad part is actually removing the pin itself. I hammered on that little s**t for an hour and bent the t...

Need help stripping down an Elite S

I now own 3 Caniks. Two SFX, and my latest is an Elite-S. I've got a new FS trigger setting on the kitchen table that I'm hoping to tackle tomorrow. I've done both of the SFX guns, and I'm wondering about the disassembly on the Elite. The pin in the takedown button is a given, but now I'm faced with...

Re: Dick's Sporting Goods Ppdate

I worked for them for a short time as backwall manager (fishing, camping and water sports), and I can honestly say the store is aptly named. Ed Stack is...and always was...more interested in golf than anything else. They were a pain to work for, let customers walk all over the salespeople. I got int...

Re: I've been wanting a PCC, soooooooo..............

Good choice, I got the pistol and sbr'd it. I did the right side saftey delete, new charging handle, spring kit, ak mag release, apex grip(might change it to magpul) havent had a problem with the factory trigger digging in but I plan to replace it with a straight trigger. PSA is making mag's for it...

Re: I've been wanting a PCC, soooooooo..............

I never in a million years would have expected it to shoot as good as it does. The changes I made helped quite a bit, especially the trigger springs and new trigger.

I've been wanting a PCC, soooooooo..............

I've never bought a gun I hadn't handled first. What I was looking for, but unable to find around here, was an AR style PCC in 9mm, but there was none to be found. I started checking online and what I did find was a lot of videos praising the CZ Scorpion EVO S1 carbine. The more I watched the more I...

Re: sfx Extra Power Magazine Springs

I had the same problem. Taylor Freelance markets an extra power spring for mags with their +4 extensions on it. It's essentially the 140mm spring made for the S&W M&P. Check their website. I swapped them into all 7 of my mags with the extensions and have not had a problem since. Be aware that it wi...

Re: recoil springs

Why don't you just email Century Arms customer service. They'll send you an entire RSA that's lighter than stock for free. There are several RSA's from other guns that will work. In one of my SFX's, I'm running a SS guide rod from a Glock 17 with a 13# flat wire ISO spring. The other one has the lig...

Re: New TP9sfx Owner

You wanna see DIRTY????? Shoot some Aguila or Winchester NATO 124's. After a match I practically have to chisel the carbon off my feed ramp with the NATO rounds. That stuff is nasty. However, it's very accurate so I just overlook the dirt.

Don't quote me on this, but I seem to remember seeing a video of a Walther PPQ slide being fired on the SFX frame and vice versa.

Re: Best mods for sfx for uspsa light loads

@Retiredtrooper Found your pics on the FB PAGE, that’s a nice looking rig! :-BD I see you are using a Comp-Tac International, which I use for my 5” M&P. Does the M&P holster work for the SFX as well? Can't answer that one. They make the International specifically for the SFX. I had to modify it so ...

Re: Best mods for sfx for uspsa light loads

Freedomsmith trigger will all but eliminate the takeup from the stock trigger. About 2mm before you hit the wall. It's worth it. I just installed their "Racer" on my 2nd SFX this afternoon. The reduced plunger spring is also worth it and will lessen/eliminate the grit in the pull. You may want to p...

Re: Post your "MATCH" videos/pictures here.

My club is in the process of affiliating with USPSA, switching from IDPA. Our match director is a bit demented which makes things interesting. I'm a big fan of the USPSA format: Here is the problem.....SOLVE IT. You'll love it. We shoot one USPSA per month, and one Steel Challenge.
