Re: Threaded barrel - yes or no?

They are very popular. A small percentage of people add a suppressor and probably a few more add a compensator but it is 9mm :-D I don't like the looks of them and have never owned one and probably won't but they sell a whole bunch of them and aftermarket threaded barrels too so I am obviously in th...

Re: It was dang hot, my shooting was not!

A friend of mine actually videoed me shooting the kneeling stage. He used his phone and it looks jittery.

I have never had a self filming camera myself, thought about it but never did anything about it.

Re: *HELP* - Magnified Shooting Glasses

https://www.safetyglassesusa.com/optx-20-20-hydrotac-stick-on-bifocal-lenses/ I have been using these for about five years and have a dozen or so friends who use them now too. A drop of water on the lens of your regular or shooting glasses and this lens will stick on until you pull it off. I wear it...

It was dang hot, my shooting was not!

First outdoor match since all this madness started. I helped set it up on Saturday and since it was very hot and we were expecting a small crowd we decided to not use any pneumatic movers and just run everything static and add more steel! We did use two cars to shoot around, thankfully not from insi...

Re: Xtreme bullets

If I could buy them locally I would use Xtreme bullets. I shot many thousands of them at one time and never had any problems with them and they usually had a discount or free shipping deal going. They had some problems, shipping time got crazy and unreliable, I hope they have it fixed by now. I swit...

Re: New Taurus model - G3C

Several of the gun magazines I subscribe to had good reviews of the G3.
It said they made some improvements.

It may be a viable pistol for someone who needs a pistol to protect their home and are on a type budget!

Re: Anyone shoot 10mm

I have a Glock 40 in 10m with Red Dot and light that I pester hogs with here in Georgia.
I also have a Glock 29 I carry as a woods walking gun and CCW to and from the woods.
I have always reloaded so 10mm is cheap to shoot.

Re: "Worst gun I ever bought was..."

The worst gun I ever bought was not terrible. just not for me! After carrying a Kel-Tec P32 in my pocket for years I bought a PF-9 in 9mm. It was basically a woods carry gun and to have it with me when going hunting or fishing in the wee hours of the morning and night. It was very reliable and never...

Re: Finally got my new Sig P365 to the range......

They are great guns. I have been shooting and carrying one since they first came out and have had zero problems with it. I did recently find the XL frame module for $34 so I swapped the frame and I like it even better. More to grip at the range and a beavertail. 12 round flush mag for 12+1 and littl...

Re: Vortex Venom 6 MOA Not Available

SwampFox is taking orders for Liberty and Justice. Red Dots, one with a regular window and one with a larger window. Both are shake awake.
May be a good option. I wish it was more than 3 moa dot though!

Re: Canik pistol rail issues

Olight sent me a new spacer that goes in the light base for picatinny! I cut it down to fit the Canik perfectly. I think I had to give the Canik rail a few light strokes with a file and now my Valkrie fits great!

Re: Current State of Guns, Ammo, Mags, Etc.

It is amazing how many people couldn't understand why we own guns and now they are standing in lines. I have seen reports of people trying to order guns online and not believing it couldn't just be delivered to their porch like an amazon package. I don't know why so many are suddenly hoarding ammo, ...

Re: CTD Price Gouging Ammo Again

Cheaper Than Diamonds is what I call them and I was done with them after the last price gouging!

They actually tried to justify it by saying it was so those that really needed ammo could get it.

Well stocked on ammo, rifle and pistol! We stay stocked on food items but made our monthly grocery store run today. Store was not crowded and no lines at register. They had no toilet paper but had paper towels and Kleenex. No alsohol, hand sanitizer or disinfectant wipes but had bleach and lots of ot...

Re: Just had my 1st Popeyes Fried Chicken sandwich!

I had my first Popeyes sandwich today also. I usually eat the Jesus chicken sandwich. It was pretty good sandwich but the restaurant was a little messed up. Tables had crumbs on them, two types of drinks were empty, no lids for regular sized cups and no napkins in dispenser and they had a 99 A on he...

Re: Devil Made me do it...

I went to the range today even with the seemingly non stop rain we have had in Georgia since the beginning of the year! At least the road is paved to the shooting bays and the bays have a heavy layer of gravel so at least it wasn't muddy. Wet but not muddy! I had installed the galloway spring kit an...

Re: Red Dot Sight Question

Vortex says 150 hours on highest setting and 30,000 on lowest. This should mean it will last awhile. As a rule of thumb I change mine every six months as they usually don't give any warning. I have heard numerous reports of people contacting Vortex and not being happy with the Viper for whatever rea...

Re: Devil Made me do it...

I won't get to the range till tomorrow but I will like it. I shot a match yesterday with my other Sfx with original Fat Daddy trigger. I love it and had no problems after a short learning curve where I wasn't getting my finger on the safety lever. All that went away with a little practice. I figured...
