That is hard to believe but it reinforces the thought that all gun owners need to reach out to friends, family, neighbors and strangers and offer to introduce them to the 2nd Admendment and gun safety and Fun! I would just shoot it stock for a while. Caniks out of the box have better triggers than mos...
Everything said is pretty much true. I check this forum every two to three days and there is not a lot new if you have had Caniks for a while. Lot of good information when you are starting out. I have been shooting my TP9SFX almost exclusively for the past six months in competition. I shot it in two...
I bought three lbs of it during the last great powder shortage.
Not cast but coated 135gr round nose bullets. I used 4.3grns and got an average of 976 fps with a 1.129 OAL!
This was with a Glock 19 62 degrees temperature.
Maybe this will help you a little!
I have been using it for a few months with Everglades 124 FMJ and JHP. I find it shoots clean and is accurate, I have had no problems with it. I do see a little less smoke using coated bullets (SNS casting) than my normal W231. I really notice my revolver staying cleaner and cylinders not gunking up...
I use Federal HST in every caliber I carry. It is a proven round and you can get it in a box of 50 cheaper than some others want for a box of 20 or 25.
I had an XDS in first .45 and then 9mm and I liked both of them. Never had any problems out of them and it was a great carry gun.
The increased capacity of the 365 in todays crazy world made me sell the XDS and buy the XDS,
If I didn't have the 365 I would be interested in the Hellcat!
https://i.imgur.com/KPtBj1bl.jpg I have been using these for at least three years. Easy to set up and transport. I got the whole thing for less than $100 at the time. Plates came from Ebay and hooks came from walmart garden center on sale. After a year of being hammered in the hard Georgia clay I h...
Good choice, I bought the same model because a sale made it just too good to pass up and another canik had me convinced they were good guns. Mine has been flawless from day 1, fed reloads, cheap factory ammo and some good self defense type ammo without a hiccup. I hope yours turns out to be just as ...
This month, shooting the TP9SFX with Red Dot I managed 5/15. 1.9 seconds better and I would have been third but I clipped a non Threat for a 5 second penalty on my very last stage. I had about five people ask me about the gun and were amazed when I told them the price. Oner stage had you sitting at ...
I had both. I carried the Shield for a good while and I really liked it. I kept it for a long time after I got a 365 and the Shield still felt a little better in my hand but the extra ammo capaacity pushed me to the 365 for every day carry. The world is getting crazier and crazier and 11 rounds of g...
Not really sure why but me and the canik TP9SFX were in sync today. Monthly GADPA match. Seven stages, two with electronic movers, one in the shoot house and a good many tough targets but it just worked out for me. It was 89 degrees but humidty was a little lower than normal and I was not only shoot...
Not shooting but last week I had to run our indoor match and I served up some real evil. I built the movers from scratch and I am not a carpenter in any way or form.
From USPSA Approved list! I tried shooting my TP9sf Elite in last nights match. Not quite as sure as I am when shooting SFX with dot but still managed 7/19 overall against probably 5 guns with optics and one open gun and I have to draw from concealment. 3 out of 7 in Concealed Carry Division, Elite is a fine gun and fun to s...
I have not but some quick measuring looks like you would have to lose 0.83 to be legal. The entire right slide release could be removed and an inside squared washer could be put in it's place on shaft and pinned with original pin. That way you wouldn't have to grind on the slide release unless a rep...
I stay with 124gr and if you are not going to reload, go with whatever brass cased ammo you can get the best deal on. You can check prices on sites like AmmoSeek and Ammograb but I usually get my best deals in emails from places I buy ammo, guns and parts. Target Sports USA usually has a great deal ...
I currently have a Glock 19 gen 3 and a G19 gen 5. I also have a 19X and a G21 .45. I mainly have them as I shoot some of the Glock matches and they won't let me shoot my Caniks! As far as grip angle and shootability my SFX and Elite beat the Glocks in every way. I moved from Glocks to CZ's because ...
