Re: What's Your go-to 22lr Rifle?

The 10/22 that my dad gave me 30 years ago hasn't been fired very much but I have never desired another 22 rifle. I am thinking of getting a pistol in 22 to cheapen practice.....Ruger Mark IV maybe.

Re: Canik Elite Combat – Setting a High Bar

Nice write up. I will be tempted to own this gun when it has the correct threads on the barrel for the US market.

Re: New SFX range report in KS

“Good luck” might be relative. Lol. When I took it out of the box and saw how tacky it felt, I was disappointed. One failure to feed out of 50rds isn’t good for any ammunition in my book although I realize it could’ve been worse.

Re: Failure to eject

I ran 200rds of 124gr NATO through first and didn't have any failures. The 300rds of 115gr random ammo afterwards worked great. Keep in mind that the higher power of NATO or +P is equally as important to break in rather than just 124gr ammo. Some have also had luck breaking in the spring a bit by le...

Re: Who All is a Competiton Shooter?

Just joined both IDPA and USPSA. They both shoot locally here. My first match is yet to be shot as I didn't like the holster that came with the SFX. I have another holster on order. I am also interested in trying 3 gun but I have realized that I will have to ease my way toward that just because of t...

Re: Who Owns a JEEP???

Thanks Janik. I get a lot of compliments on the jeep because of that shade of blue. Care to give a quick review on your fastback soft top? Your lift is just right for the wheels/tires. 35's are overrated.

South of Wichita is a little town called Wellington that has an outdoor range with steel in most of the bays. Thanks for the tip on Pioneer!

Re: Hello from Northern Occupied Virginia

Hi Rane, For break-in, the weight of the bullet may be only part of the equation. NATO rounds are hotter (think +p) which may help break in the spring as well. To be on the safe side, yesterday I ran 200rds of Winchester 124gr NATO first and then ran a bunch of different flavors of 115gr from PMC al...
