Re: Which One Is Next?

"Easy, Sub Elite for her, Elite for you!" Couldn't have said it better myself. When my wife gets her SC, we will mirror your suggestion fully. I carry the Elite, comfortably, and confidently. I like the larger (upper mid-size) size, though still rotate with my Beretta APX Compact. I have go...

Re: Really like my Elite Sub Compact so far

Same question, sort of - I was impressed that they are finally offering a "functional" holster. Messed with it a bit at my LGS, and it seems pretty decent for a freebie. Have you used it; drawn from it at the range or dry practice? Comments pro vs. con? When we purchase it, I'm glad the holster is t...

Re: Springfield Armory Hellcat

Take it with a grain of salt, but three of the RO's I spoke with at my LGS/Range shot both the Elite SC and the Hellcat, and all three voted in for the Elite SC. Common comments were: less rearward recoil; more comfortable and fuller grip due to the base plates on the mags; quicker/shorter trigger r...

Re: TP9DA, V2 and Elite Combat - Range Session

I'm glad you got another bronze one, Janik! I just ordered a Baldr Pro (the new Olight offering - light/green laser) for mine; nightstand gun. Donating my Olight mini to my wife's VP9 - her nightstand gun. I'll probably swap the Baldr Pro on/off the DA on to my Elite, when I carry it, now th...

Re: curious

I've fallen into a good groove with my Elite and DA, shooting Speer Lawman and Fiochi. The guns handle them well, and I shoot them well, so never really feel the need to change up. Fiochi will come in cheaper for the most, with slightly higher muzzle velocity. I feel a tad bit more snap, but damn ac...

Re: I Didn’t realize...

I love my APX Compact! It's a little "beefy", but it does shoot great (3.7inch barrel). I now wish that my Caniks had the same moderately aggressive grip texturing on them - that APX won't budge when I grip it. I switch between the APX and Elite for EDC, depending on clothing and activity. The APX i...

Re: 10,000 rounds through a Canik TP9SF Elite

My all stock Elite just hit 3200, and is purring like a kitten. At 3000, I put the original RSA back in. Had approx. 4-500 rounds into it by the time the lighter RSA arrived, and used the lighter one up to the 3000 mark. It's in the "spare" bag now. Glad to hear such positive remarks about the Canik...

Re: Hello from Chicago

The problem I have personally run into when trying to shop outside of Crook, is that I never find the ammo I prefer shooting. Your results may vary, though.
Good luck.

Re: Hello from Chicago

ammoseek.com is your friend! I always buy online, and have ammo shipped to my house - yes, in Crook County, but in the burbs (Hanover Park) - not Chicago. outdoorlimited.com and sgammo.com have no issues sending here. A few others will ship here too, but the two I mention always have the bes...

Re: Hello from Illinois

Welcome from Hangover, errrr, Hanover Park. I can't believe it, but I may have actually swayed my wife into getting the SC vs. the Sig P365 XL. She held it today while at the range, and really liked it. I am impressed that Canik made a more useful holster for it too. We'll see, as we don't ma...

Re: Canik Fanatik Gear

I was wondering about this when I made my purchases last week, and couldn't get in to the LCUSA site. I am sorry you'll lose your personal site, but very happy to know it will all be available via Etsy. I still would love to have just one item with a "LimaCharlieUSA" logo on the back. I think my nex...

janik, you lucky SOB!
I'm glad you got yours, and can educate us as you use it more.
I know when I held it 10 days ago, I wanted to walk out with it so bad, but can't justify it just yet. Eventually.

Have fun!

Re: TP9 elite sc

Have not shot it yet, but held it on Monday, and it felt real snug in my strong hand. The manufacturing looked great to my eyes - no mars, solid slide/frame fit, very easy to operate all of the normal moving parts. Up against my hip, looked like a no-brainer to conceal. I think it would be a great c...

Held one, finally, today while at one of my two LGS's. Felt great in my hands. Sights were nice, trigger nice - all the same winning elements of my Elite-S, but smaller.
$379 as well. So hard to walk out without it :(

"but you must have at least 1-2 (if not more) spare mags on or with you." Yes, capacity would shy my away from using it as my EDC. I'm quite comfortable with my two EDC's, Beretta APX Compact 13 rnd, Canik Elite-S 15 rnd (both with one spare on my belt). The purpose of our eventual purchase is to h...
