Re: Cast Bullets Keyholing

9mm jacketed bullets are .355 https://www.speer-ammo.com/products/bullets/handgun-bullets/tmj-handgun-bullet/3995 https://www.sierrabullets.com/product/9-mm-355-115-gr-jhp/ and so on. You're right Texas. That's what I reload jacketed with. I claim senior moment. Ha. But we do have options. Armscor ...

Re: Cast Bullets Keyholing

.356 cast won't work in most 9s. .356 is what jacketed bullets are sized to. I cast and size to .357 for my Canik. I cast some to.358 I want to try when I get time.

Re: Buy it cheap, stack it deep

I cast my lead bullets and buy my jacketed ones. I have noticed that Rotometals has raised their lead prices, (I was buying foundry lead and mixing it with soft lead to make Lyman #2), and not as many good hard lead deals on ebay. Clip on wheel weights are about a thing of the past now. Get em while...

Re: bore diameter?

Yep. I'm reloading 358-125-RF bullets. I tried them 358 and 357. Squeezed 357 with 3gr 700x or 5 grains of Longshot, oal 1.017. 45-45-10 lube. Longshot has the edge on the 700x but they both shoot great. Longshot having the softer recoil. I tried CFE with 4.8gr being the best for a group but not tha...

I didn't hear they might close, but I did hear they finally started catching crap for dropping Black Rifles.

Re: Looking to upgrade my sigle stage press.

I have a Rock Chucker I got over 30 yrs ago To load 308 and 357. You can't break it. It was slow but relaxing for me. Then I picked up a coupla semi auto pistols. So much for relaxation. Then the Piggyback came out. I kept my eye on it for some time thinking I should get it for the Rock Chucker. The...

Re: Southern Border - What a Mess

All the government has to do is ask us to protect it. Texas Minute Men are helping the BP. It would be a great thing if citizens by the thousands united and marched to the southern border and told the "caravan" to get the hell back home. They whine that their countries are bad. My god! 7,000 people...

Re: bore diameter?

Thanks NWcg2. I'm a CB member, but never found that post. I pour and load for some of my military rifles and thought I would find an accurate cast load for my new Canik. I sold my SW 59 to pay for the Canik. That old 59 was a sprayer. I decided to go with .358 with the TPSF. I did run some sized .35...

Luv'n my TP9SF

Hey all! I bought the Canik TP9SF recently and am duly impressed!
I reload and am interested in what other Canik owners found what it takes for an accurate load. So I will be a frequent visitor on this site.
