Re: Is this worth $700.00

Either the picture resolution is bad or those mag extensions are 3d printed, which would be lower in value than say a set of Taylor freelance alumnium base pads.

If they are printed.... See if he'll share who designed them. 😜 I'd print some myself.

Re: PCC or AR-9?

USPSA PCC division or just range fun? Competition - go AR9, Ruger, MPX, Scorpion, dedicated 9mm lowers/firearms. Range fun- check out Endo mag by mean arms, uses 5.56 mags for 9mm. But after buying an upper or parts it might just be cheaper to buy a Ruger. I also believe your an Iowan, so you are we...

Re: Forum jerseys?

I'd be more interested in a "funny" jersey than a "sponsor" jersey. (i.e. Some play on Canik english vs turkish pronunciation) My belief is that no company pays me too shoot... so a discount isn't worth running a "bullets inc" sponsored shirt. If I get a job with a manufacturer and they give me PTO,...

Re: Reloading for USPSA Carry Optics

I run 125gr Blue Bullets with 5.0 gr True Blue, OAL 1.145, PF is 126-127 Canik: TP9SFx, Venom 6MOA Yes on the bleeding edge, but this is my same load for PCC and i'll never shoot beyond a level 1 local match with Carry Optics with this load. Out of my PCC this same load runs 132-134 PF, which is why...

Re: Favorite Training Target Download Links...

I went a different route. I had a buddy cut out a metal template for USPSA targets with the A zone noted. I just use all those amazon boxes I get delivered, cut them up and use a sharpie to draw my USPSA metric targets on them. It is my way of recycling, plus I think its fun I recycle man shaped car...

Re: Your First Canik

Short story for me. I shoot USPSA PCC divison, as I like playing with red dots but dislike the Open Price tag, I am going to leisurely shoot Carry Optics (CO, or Cheap Open). TP9SFX was bought without ever touching one, just read reviews from this forum, youtube, also squadded with a Forum member at...

Simple things.. it isn't mag related.. happens with all of your magazines?

Crazy your bullets are nosediving under the feedramp.

I knew I read the back strap weight idea somewhere... Thanks!

Now to work with some tungsten/lead tape on the muzzle end.

45oz - Making my SFx a fat kid

My SFx has one purpose, provide me a cost effective to shoot USPSA Carry Optics. This division has a 45oz weight limit and I am trying to come up with ways to approach that limit if possible. Looking at tungsten weights in the back strap and adding weight via mag extensions. What other ideas have yo...

Re: 9mm Carbine

To play cheap and reliable... Ruger PCC. To play cheap and have to fidget to make it work... PSA lowers work fine. To just buy it and be reliable, CZ Scorpion, MPX, or something like JP or Leadstar PCC. Personally I run a old Glock PSA lower and self built upper with different parts. But I wanted to...

Re: Sfx weak ejections

Received the reduced power recoil spring from Century... Brass ejection went from piddling out of the gun.. into a proper 90 deg rainbow ejection. Stopped my stove pipe issue, shot about 150 rounds after the swap, also shot two magazines with original recoil spring to confirm the ejection/stove pipe...

Re: Working a Bladetech holster to fit TP9SFx

Nice job. I'm currently using the holster that came with it but on the hunt for a replacement I just lucked out as my XDM was my limited blaster, just had what I had hanging out in the gear bag. I bet there are other models bladetech holsters would fit... I use bladetech as they are cheap on Amazon.

Working a Bladetech holster to fit TP9SFx

After some trial and error.. I was able to get my Canik TP9SFx into a bladetech holster. Orginally the Bladetech fits a XDM 5.25. (CZ-SP01 is a no go) The Canik needed another 1/4" for the trigger to be completely covered, but the front of the frame was hitting the holster. Grabbed a heatgun, and af...

Re: First use in a match - Finally

Keep shooting matches... Don't be shy about asking your squad mates about their gear. Likes/dislikes/ preferences...

I was shy, didn't ask questions, ending up buying pouches and belt setups 2-3 times.

If your are a USPSA member there is a discount on red Hill tactical holsters.

Re: Sfx weak ejections

Took my new TP9SFx to the range to dial it in before a USPSA match tomorrow.

Also poor ejection, ejection pattern dribbling out at 3 oclock, about 6 inches.

My ammo is 132 PF, USPSA level 2 match tested. (using the same load as my other 9mm divisions)

Sent email off to CanikUSA.
