Re: Pistol stands

The reason I did the tilt on the rack was because it didn’t fit right in my cabinet and allow easy removal of pistols. It comes with these plastic tubes holding it together. They didn’t support the weight so I replaced them with threaded rods. I got it and its a neat solution. It looks good and the...

Re: Pistol stands

It is an Amazon bought kit but I modified for my needs. I do lock up most of my stuff, but I also have things in other places besides my gun cabinet. This is the kit. https://www.amazon.com/BenchMaster-BMWRPP4-Accessories-Pistols-Concealed/dp/B00NAXW11A/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1538374730&sr=8-19&ke...

Re: Pistol stands

That is a pretty cool Idea. I may steal it. I have been knocking my brain for a way to store my mags. This is how I handled some of my pistol storage. https://thumb.ibb.co/e8hoYe/Stand_3.jpg Have you done that rack? It looks like a pro-built. Its some deadspace under the rack but that looks awesome...

The main foam probably leave as is, would just do it on the pipe insulation, to cover the writing and to make it black to match the main base.

Re: Pistol stands

in case of pluckable foam helps keep it from tearing once the cutting is done Do you just spray on the top of the foam or down into the plucked out spaces? I set up a Pelican case for 6 pistols plus mags and I can see how it will break down after awhile. I spray a coat or two into the plucked areas...

Very creative stuff; I like the range bag idea. How much was the nap mat?
Cost 299SEK. About US $31.
Its 6 parts. I have not mesured how big the parts are.
