Re: Mobile 1 Lube for TP9SA

This is a thicker oil that's also very stringy. Stays in place. Much less oil splatter on the lenses of my Vortex.

Re: TP9SFX Plunk test

It all depends on bullet profile.

I'm sending my SFx barrel out to be throated. It should stop the leading problem I've got and will also allow me to seat those .357 sized bullets out to a normal length.

Re: Reloading with best Dies

Dillon dies.

The sizing die is belled for easy feeding and has a spring loaded decapping pin to prevent drawback.

Separate crimp and seating dies. The seating die is very easy to swap the seating stem on without changing any settings.

Adjustable sight for SFx

Am I correct that any adjustable Glock rear sight will work?

Re: Freedomsmith trigger = light strikes

I needed to tune the trigger. A couple of light file strokes on the rear pads and everything came together.

Barrel question?

A little background. I have a SFx. I've slugged the bore and it's .356, this means I need to shoot a .357 cast bullet. Anything less causes leading. However getting .357 bullets to chamber is pretty hard. I'd like to have the barrel throated but need to know if it's salt bath nitrated aka melonite o...

Re: My Super 650 Dillon Build

I purchased my second 650 last year. Now I have one set up for small primers and one for large. What it really means is one set up for .45 ACP and one for 9mm. A couple of nice enhancements are linked below. https://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Original-Dillon-XL-650-Missed-LIVE-Primer-Chute-Ski-Jump-Fix-Up...

Re: Freedomsmith trigger = light strikes

The pin in question is a 0.060 pin. Explains why a 1/16 or 0.0625 pin wouldn't fit.

Re: Freedomsmith trigger = light strikes

You won't believe what happened yesterday.

I was out at the bench casting some bullets. I had been casting for about an hour. I went to place the mold under the pot and there it was. The missing pin. I just popped it in the pistol as I was busy casting. I will get a measurement off of it.

Re: Freedomsmith trigger = light strikes

I picked up some 1/16th and some M1.5 roll pins. Neither one will fit. They are both too large. They won't go in the hole in the tab nor in the pin the tab fits on. I contacted Century to get a replacement. I chamfered the ends of both sizes cleaned up any burrs, and they still didn't fit. Simply to...

TP9 roll pin sizes?

Does anyone know what size the roll pin is that goes in the takedown tabs?

Mine got away from me and I need a replacement.

If it matters it's for the SFx.

Re: Freedomsmith trigger = light strikes

Freedomsmith told me to tune the trigger, give it some more overtravel.

Now I need a replacement for that damn little roll pin that fits in the takedown tabs. It got away from me when I was trying to put it back in.

Anyone know what size that little sucker is?

Re: Freedomsmith trigger = light strikes

Alright, The striker channel is clean and dry. The pistol will launch a brand new pencil about 6" above the muzzle. I primed 10 resized cases and they all went bang. So I loaded up the other 90 rounds. They all drop and spin in both the barrel and my EGW case gauge. I headed to the range and no joy....

Re: Freedomsmith trigger = light strikes

Factory ammo was Winchester White Box and some Federal.

I've had the slide off and everything looks like it should.

Freedomsmith trigger = light strikes

I installed a FS trigger in my TP9SFx and started getting light strikes. I changed out the striker spring for a Glock 6.5 lb spring. That actually made it worse. It's barely dimpling the primers now. This is on handloads and factory ammo. I know there have been a couple of other posts about this but...

Re: HELP! Lost spring!

Locking Lever Spring, PATP008-TP9

Taken directly from the TP9SFx parts list.

The spring under the part that keeps the slide on.

Just noticed the correct part number is 8. Chanaged above.

HELP! Lost spring!

My fat arthritic fumble fingers were installing my Freedomsmith trigger yesterday and managed to lose the Locking Lever Spring. It stuck to my finger and then fell off onto the shop floor of no return. Has anyone found a easy to obtain replacement? I've contacted Century but with SHOT show being las...
