Re: Hello from Louisiana

I absolutely love my Mod 2. So much that I just bought an SF Elite. When I find a great deal on the SFx I'll get that one as well.

Backorder, again... Thankfully I already got mine from AIM Surplus months ago... Just waiting on my SF Elite to get here now. Then, who knows, SFx, sub compact... Jeez, this is addicting!

Re: TP9SFX ro 419.99

I was looking at their prices for the TP9SF Elite today and their shipping was ~$25. Guns Midwest (even with the 2.5% mark up for CC) was still $10 cheaper due to only $14 for shipping. SFX may be next for me, but I'm just not sure I "need" a "Race" gun...

Re: Tristar Bullpup 12 gauge

The only real issue with bullpups in general is the manual of arms to change the magazines. You cannot keep your cheek weld no matter what, so it takes a little longer than having the magazine in front of the trigger. Check videos of the Brits and others running AUGs, etc. to see what I mean.

Re: Free Grips to the first 5 replies

So, I got mine yesterday. Cleaned the grip as directed and applied. I really like the feel, although there is a stark difference between the front/sides and the back strap. Almost wish there was a piece for the back strap. I haven't shot it yet, but should be able to do so Sunday or Monday (days off...

Re: Hello from Northern Occupied Virginia

Welcome to the addiction. Just curious, are those rounds 9mm NATO (125 gr)? If not you may have issues until you break in the RSA. This is a great place to learn about these pistols. Great bunch of folks as well.

I use a smart carry holster. It is pouch in front between shirt and pants. I can wear it with anything from basketball shorts to a tux.

When chasing a problem such as this, an eye loupe is worth it's weight in gold. You'll be amazed at what you'll find that needs polishing. A set of 5 is $3.75

Re: Talon Grips

I had the rubber ones on my M&P Shield 9mm. I liked them, but failed to clean the weapon well enough and they started to peel up. I removed them and never bought more. From what I read before getting the rubber ones the granulate was very aggressive. I just wanted a little more grip which the rubber...

Re: AR for $279.....?

Link doesn't work for me. Takes me to a $199 AR upper. Cheapest thing I can find is $449.

Guess I should pay attention. You have to buy the lower and upper separate...
