Re: Sprinco

Does anyone know if they are still shipping their product? I ordered a Sprinco setup for my SFx back in November and have been patiently waiting. While you're waiting, there are other options... https://forums.brianenos.com/topic/251972-canik-tp9-sfx-guide-rod/ I'm running the Sprinco RSA but was d...

Re: "Worst gun I ever bought was..."

Mossberg 715T .22lr rifle. At a glance it looks like an AR, but it's most definitely not. It was a Jam-o-matic. Horribly finicky on ammo; it would only cycle the slide with the most powerful hv ammo. And oh, so miserable to clean. You had to remove about 12 tiny screws to get it apart. Just an all a...

When chasing a problem such as this, an eye loupe is worth it's weight in gold. You'll be amazed at what you'll find that needs polishing. A set of 5 is $3.75

Re: Al Sharpton makes "another" withdrawal from his charity......

Yep....liberals seem to be immune from prosecution. Al Sharpton, Al Gore, Jessie Jackson, Bill and Hillary, and on and on. The gov't seems to take a "don't ask, don't tell" attitude with the libs. Eric Holder, Susan Rice, and The Royal Supreme Potentate Anointed Messiah hisself, Barackness Hussein ...

Re: PT9SFX and IDPA

You are correct. The SFx uses an 18+2 setup. It's legal in USPSA/Steel Challenge, but will not fit the box for IDPA. The base plate can be changed to the 18 round version, but with pre-Christmas pricing you may be able to find complete 18 rnd mags cheap. IDPA rules are geared toward Defensive use (t...

How many of you gents has had to put a constant companion.........out to pasture simply because it was unseated by something better? Know how I feel? I had to. Re: The Offical Red Dot Thread

FWIW, common foam shaving cream works as a great ant-fog for lenses. Put a dab on your fingers, rub it into a previously cleaned lens, then buff 'clean' with a soft cloth. Someone tipped me off to this a bijion years ago when racing enduro's. OK guys, edumacate me... how does using an optic on a car...

In my fantasy world, it's an STI DVC open gun, or similar.
https://stiguns.com/product-lineup/dvc-open/
In a more realistic world, a Ruger 10/22 Target Lite.

I think he was looking for full retail on each of those items. There is a couple extra magazines, the extended mag bases, and a belt.
Not seeing the value.

Re: Backup Irons for the Elite Combat...sort of!

The only problem I had was the Venom going to minimum brightness on 4 occasions. Three times one day and once another. I thought the thing had turned off, but when looking closely, it was at minimum brightness. I was shooting in bright sunlight and couldn't tell if it turned completely off or not. ...

Re: Backup Irons for the Elite Combat...sort of!

Glenn, Does the pistol still go in and out of the holster ok with the shark fin out front? I've been interested for some time in doing this same thing with my SFX for USPSA shooting, wondering if it my improve my alignment/target aquisition time. I envision (good pun?) both pros and cons... I use th...

Congrats! Having a great finish sure takes some of the pain out of getting up at Oh-dark-thirty.

That club sure has some nice props. I'm pretty sure stage props like those are banned in the Southeast ;)

Re: WTS- Walther PPQ-M2

Edit/update:

Fyi, it's against the law to ship a pistol via USPS unless you have an FFL. You have to use UPS or FedEx and declare it.

You're right, that link I had from PSA was not an M2. My bad. The M2 is much nicer than the older version. My apologies.

I wanna know what the "fix" actually is before I send mine in. If it's an 'idiot with a hammer' scenario and Walther is going to install a F250 truck spring in the trigger, I'll skip it.

Btw, I love mine.

I can't figure out what problem the Racer is supposed to fix. Seems to me that the cuts on each side kind of defeat the 'fat' benefit.

It makes me sick how everyone is so hateful on this forum. I am a liberal, I own two Caniks, and it disgusts me how i am called a "Libtard'. If you actually took the time to know me, you would understand the liberal position. I come here to talk about Caniks, not to be put down. I am done with this...

The takedown screw on mine came loose the first couple outings, but after cleaning both the male and female threads, I've never had it come loose again. No way would I Loctite that, way too risky as McCanik discovered. https://thumb.ibb.co/jv1z8V/20181108-215655.jpg https://thumb.ibb.co/jmXjaA/20181...

Another Weapon© patent-pending mod completed today. 89¢ for a 10 pack of #1 split-rings at Dunham's. Trigger pull dropped slightly, down to an avg. of 2.8 lbs. To pick up on a comment by Hank B in a prior post, my SFx is a 100% comp-only gun. I'd never make these changes to a carry gun. Try explaini...

Re: Prefer GREEN dots to red.

Sadly, I don't think any of the better quality Dots are available in green. I too would prefer green. The symptoms you describe with your ADE sound like the battery losing connection intermittently. The battery is rattling-around with each shot. It's a common problem with optics and GPS units. Try t...
