Considering you want to load all those different calibers, I think you'd do fine with the Hornady.

Re: Home, home, on the range...

Still waiting to hear details about the First Annual Canik Fanatik rendezvous at your place... :D 😎 Still a long way to go. Rather than buy stands for $300, I'm taking these H-shaped pieces of steel that are from the shipping crates of Yamaha watercraft and cutting them down to usable stands. I got...

Re: Home, home, on the range...

Haven't posted-up in quite a while, and since some of you have probably reached the end of the internet lately... First week of February we received a devastating 7" rainfall in 18 hours. The seed was only down for 10 days when heavy rain came and it was heartbreaking to literally watch it wash away...

Re: How is everyone’s job status

I'm good for the foreseeable future as I work for a small arm of a giant multi-national corporation. 80+% of us are working from home with our company laptops and calls forwarded to cell phones. Wife's situation, on the other hand is not so good. Her employer just flat closed up. They might reopen w...

Re: Corona Virus Ammo Thread - Online Availability

https://www.targetsportsusa.com still has a wide variety of 9 mm self-defense rounds, at normal prices. Looks like all common practice/normal 9 mm is gone. They still have some .22 LR, again at normal prices. I just bought a case of 3200 rounds of CCI clean 40 gr. polymer coated in the pink breast ...

Re: Everyone prepared for the Apocalypse?

This morning while terrorizing the squirrels that are eating the grass seed from my new pistol shooting bay (with various .22's from the window of my second floor reloading room) [it's not as redneck as it sounds] i hear a noise next door at the neighbors house. After relocating to a different windo...

Re: Everyone prepared for the Apocalypse?

According to the fed govt biotech website, the H1N1 swine flu in 2009-2010 had 60.8 MILLION infected, 274,000 hospitalized, and 12,469 deaths -just in the USA! [url]https://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/estimates_2009_h1n1.htm/url] Think about that.. How many have died of the Wuhan Corona virus in the U.S.? 5...

Re: Have Red Dots changed your purchase habits?

I guess i would have to answer, yes. Of the two pistols and two rifles i shoot regularly, all four have optics. All the stuff with irons... gets neglected. 😥 (Except for the Ruger Wrangler i just bought) Guys, several of you mention vision issues that effect your shooting in one manner or another. B...

Re: Reloading for USPSA Carry Optics

I’ve been having trouble finding Sport Pistol powder, but just got confirmation from Graf’s that I’ve got 4 lbs. coming my way, along with 2,000-- 124 grn HBRN-TP Berry’s bullets. I’ve been using VV-N320 powder $$$, but that stuff is getting harder to find as well. If the Sport Pistol works as well...

Re: TP9SFX issues persist... send back to Century?

Yes, all other springs are stock. I did a thorough cleaning when the issue initially arose and followed a video to clean the firing pin/channel. I've been using a combination of Sellier & Bellot 115gr and Tula 115gr. I don't think it's the ammo because the issue pretty much went away when I switche...

Re: Reloading for USPSA Carry Optics

So along this topic I'll ask a question that I alluded to in my previous post. Let's say that I have 3 guns. I load for an OAL that works in the shortest barrel. Let's say an arbitrary 1.140" Now I want to shoot the loads in a 4th gun and without me knowing it that gun actually needs an OAL of 1.13...

Re: Reloading for USPSA Carry Optics

Thought I'd share a couple Chrono screenshots from yesterday. I was testing some bunny fart Steel Challenge loads, (fail) but thought I'd confirm last year's data on CO ammo just to ensure everything was on track. I've tried multiple brands of 147's and I like them just fine, but as Weapon mentioned...

FYI, Cabela's is running a 2A sale promotion thru March 11th with hundreds of goodies with some great pricing. The Join/Renew your NRA membership promo is going on this weekend, so I stopped to re-up ($35 yr, get a $25 Cabela's gift card) on the way home from a USPSA match today. All Frankford Arsen...
