Re: The Canik Picture Thread!

I should have never bought a CZ, now I feel another fever developing. Oh I understand, believe me. Like I said earlier, those Czechs has it going on for real, the product quality. They reported months back on the CZ forum CZ is building a manufacturing plant here, that CZ pistols will be produced i...

Re: AR-SBR-Shotgun etc. for home defense

My 24/7 home defense consists of a Glock 22 with a Streamlight TLR-6 attached. Backup is located in my safe which resides in my bedroom. First out is a Maverick 88 pump 12 gauge 18" barrel, youth stock, loaded with 00 buckshot and a FF3 red dot mounted atop.

I am surprised that there is not a dedicated picture thread here on this forum. Least I didn't find one searching around.

Re: Canik TP9DA and CZ P07

Of course my SFX with its FF3 optic makes fast accurate shooting even easier than the S2 at any distance, least for me and my old eyes. But the S2 trigger is unrivaled. I'm going to have to take a group photo.

But I concur with your assessment, SFX best striker fired trigger I have shot.

Re: Canik TP9DA and CZ P07

I don't know about that. I purchased a CZ Shadow 2 about 2.5 months ago (3 weeks after the SFX) and put $50 of CGW springs/xtended FP in it and ended up at SA = 2.2 lbs and DA = 5lbs 11 oz. Of course the S2 costs much more (2.2x) than the SFX going in, but its the finest shooting/firearms craftsmans...

Re: AR15 Optics

Clearly you first need to define your objective, your intent for your weapon. But for the life of me, I cannot see purchasing or assembling a defensive or tactical rifle, then putting a $50 optic on it. If your sole intent is for target practice or banging plates on a nice sunny day, so be it. I'm g...

Re: Taurus G2S?

All I can tell ya is I have had a 709 Slim for over a year, never a problem and a nice trigger pull. I purchased a G2C a couple months back (sale @$200 delivered) and it has the worst trigger. It goes bang every time but it has a hitch or catch in the pull about mid travel, from the blade safety mec...

I never see any good deals at the pawn shops. Everything always seems over priced.
Same here. Even when I was travelling I would stop in and check the local pawn shops. I have never purchased a gun deal at a pawn shop. Just my experience.

Wow, pretty good deal, a Burris 332 and a fast fire III together for $309.50 shipped. Evidently Burris is pushing a bundle deal because I found this package at three places on line. https://www.savinglots.com/lotprod.asp?item=300177&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&adpos=1o1&scid=scplp300177&sc_inti...

A buddy of mine has one of these, got it for $440 delivered. Purchased directly from the manufacturer in AZ. Accepts glock mags. The fire control group is AR15 compatible, barrel threading is 1/2x28. Zeal has a LOT of firearms/experience and he is very pleased with his little Extar 9mm pistol (that ...

Re: AR15 Optics

I purchased a Trijicon MRO over the labor Day weekend, took advantage of a sale on ebay and picked it up for $305 delivered without a mount. I had just put together a light 5.56 upper using a Faxon 16" pencil barrel and a few other lighter weight components. The complete upper came in at 2 lbs 15 oz...
