If you are out there lurking, reading stuff on this forum, (like I was) trying to decide if a $350 gun could really be any good. Go ahead and jump in. It probably won't be long before the prices rise in accordance with demand.
Ah, the Canik reaction. We all went thought it and most, bought several.

Re: New Member From Nashville, TN

I should have said Harley's. I've had motorcycles my whole life but for the last 30 years my bike has been a 1988 Harley-Davidson FXR in Low Rider After an assortment of import models, I went American. Been through 4 Harley's, '90 Softail Custom, '98 Dyna WideGlide, '01 ElectraGlide and a '14 Elect...

Re: Which TP9 Would Be the Best All-Around Choice.

I know you said "all-around". If only one, and "one for all seasons", I would go with the Canik Elite. The base Elite is affordable, medium size, and a great shooter. Some CC, and many here have described it as a tack driver. It will work for home defense. It is high quality and has a great trigger...

Other than firearms my personal interests are motorcycles, photography, the Tennessee Titans and music.
You had me at "motorcycles".

I have the TP9SFX . Right now for bullseye competition I can only use the iron sights.
Replace my front sight with a "Canik, TP9 Series, Tritium Front Sight - Front Sight is .230 Tall". PERFECT!

Hit 41 years the 1st of JUN. If I had put a hit on her the day I met her, I'd be out on parole now. (KIDDING!) But I did tell her that on our 23rd anniversary. :d No, really, I did.

Re: Any one tried one of these Speed loaders

5 rds max per mag at the range. It slows me down and makes me analyze in small groups.

Shooting comp has changed how I practice. 4-5 small 3" splatter-targets on a full size target, 1-2 rds per 3" circle.

Like a boxer, stick & move.

Re: my first USPSA shoot

If you're shooting USPSA production use the flush mount 18 rd mags; you can only load them to 10 rds by the book. SFx is on the production list.
