Web Belts- anyone wear them?......

Post by higgybaby » Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:17 am

I ordered a couple off Amazon-$11.99 for 2 delivered. They came yesterday, and work great. Especially when carrying a firearm- no more too tight or too loose belt. Wore a pistola around the house the rest of the day... I think I like them.

Unfortunately....when Agatha saw them- she thinks they look too much like a woman's belt- kinda shiny with diamond pattern to the weave. She says a man should not wear that belt. Hmmm?...... so I went online and found some more that she approved of for a man. So-I ordered more. Should be here Monday.

My point here though is that the web belts are comfortable to wear- unlimited adjustments- you can make it fit. These are cheap belts, but strong. If you carry a heavy gun?- you may need a heavier duty one. You can spend upwards of $60 each on those. So watch out.
I just want to recommend these to all you older folks...... they seem to work good for carry.

Just google "men's web belts" or go to amazon. The cheap ones are good enough to try....then if you like them - you can order the what ever label brand you want.

You should tell her that you are channeling your inner woman, which is encouraged today...You are a true modern man, Higgy...cry and denounce your aggressive male-ness. You no longer identify with a single gender, but can choose depending upon your feelings of the day. (Tell me how that goes with Agatha... :d )

I've got a variety of webbed belts rolled up in a box. The BDU belts don't work for carrying. The rest are fashion belts that came with the shorts or pants and are even worse than the BDU belts.

I swear by my Next Belt. It's holding up my Elite right now.

I'm a Kore belt guy myself... Made specifically for carrying a handgun. One of the parts of the trifecta that you should have if your a CCW person.... Belt, Holster and of course the firearm itself.

Beware of Dragons. For you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

The Blade Tech ultimate carry belt is the same belt, just a few bucks cheaper on Amazon.

Cobra buckle is a no go. It doesn't pass as "business casual". I've tried. The recently relaxed dress code that allows untucked camo style shirts might make it a possibility.

Some of the Kore buckles will work good for business casual.

Now that I have had the belts a couple days....I like them- they are better than my old leather belts no doubt. BUT.....they are a little noisy going on and off (plastic buckles)- and need to be more stiff if you put a real load on them.
I'll probably look for a heavier belt- but wear these til I find something better.
