To be honest I think there is a couple of issues.
1. really steep feed ramp, last round is getting jammed into the ramp causing it to kind of buckle back and dig in
2. the tab on the slide (I am sure there is a technical name for it but the hell if i know what it is) that pushes the round into the chamber may be a touch too long.

I also wonder if there isn't a timing issue with the way it puts the long indent in the primer. Mine can make an indent from the center of the primer all the way to the outside edge of the primer.

I was looking at the G2C to replace my 365.To be honest I have a hard time trusting the 365 with the way it chews up my mags. The pic shows my mags after 1500 rounds through the 365. I am always cleaning plastic shavings out of the gun. And Sig wasn't helpful either. They told me they know about the problem and were not planning to fix it because it doesn't effect the reliability of the weapon.

Interesting, probably close to 500 rounds through my P365 and my mags are not that chewed up. Are you shooting steel cased ammo?

Fiocchi 115gr fmj, Speer Lawman 124 gr fmj. No steel.

I was at the range today and heard that they will be coming out with a new gen soon to fix this problem.

I have owned a G2 for a couple of years, 3500 rds thru it. I have not had one FTF or FTE. Have shot 6 to 8 different brands of 9mm 115, 124 and 147 gr ammo. I scan get 2 to 3 " groups at 15 yrds. I had it Magna Ported and replaced the stock trigger with one that is SA only. This is my main carry gun. I carry OWB open most of the time or I wear a shirt that will cover it depending on where I may be going.

Sorry Im late to the discussion, but for what it is worth. Yes I own a 9mm PT111 G2. Good pistol, as long as you feed it brass. I had some Alum rounds and it got stuck in the barrel. I could not move the slide at all. Had to send it back to Taurus. It took 90 days to get it back! that is Taurus customer support, not the pistol.

You understand that Taurus has changed they warranty services. It is no longer lifetime!

yes you cn use the sig P226 magazine, 18 or 20 rds. These mags are relatively inexpensive. i like the 18 rd one, as it makes the pistol feel like a full gripping pistol. It is an accurate pistol to shoot. If you decide to buy the sig 226 mag, you will need to have an extension. I used Shapeways ( https://www.shapeways.com/ ) and ordered the extension for the 226 mag.

Good luck!

Im thinking a G2c g2s or 709 for a car gun. TP9SF, SF Elite or a TP40 for the house.

We were told we needed therapy, so we bought lifetime range passes. :-BD

When considering the G2C vs. G2S:

I was surprised to see the single stack S slide fit the double stack C frame perfectly.

All I can tell ya is I have had a 709 Slim for over a year, never a problem and a nice trigger pull. I purchased a G2C a couple months back (sale @$200 delivered) and it has the worst trigger. It goes bang every time but it has a hitch or catch in the pull about mid travel, from the blade safety mechanism. And if you read the Taurus forums, I'm not the only one unhappy with it. Taurus re-designed the trigger safety after some ADs, then renamed the pistol. My G2C also has PT-111 G2A on the frame, in small print by the serial number. Oh and Taurus changed their warranty period to one year now, was lifetime previously.
