Re: TP9 Stainless Steel Guide Rod9

Wow.. 24 lb RSA.. i'm running 12/13 and 14 lb Sprinco RSA and it rocks... does this actually work?... so many folks, me included have received a reduced recoil spring from Century Arms because of slide issues... but hey... if this works... might be on to something..

Re: Sfx threaded barrel and comp results?

If you guys want more info.. check out the Team Canik Fanatik facebook page. Ron Iden who shoots Steel Challenge matches just put a compensator on his SFX a few weeks ago..a Tridelta Tactical .. He says it ran fine with 124 grain reloads with the reduced recoil springs. https://thumb.ibb.co/kY4Mee/r...

Re: FS trigger and light strikes

Yeah that's odd.. the only thing I can think of is I read a post a few months ago on the Canik Fanatik facebook page that the Freedomsmith trigger shoe reduces (almost eliminates) pre-travel by changing the placement of the trigger fulcrum hole (the middle takedown pin hole) and the trigger attachme...

Are you running any special recoil springs on the RSA such as Sprinco or Wolf and also on the striker spring?

Re: Freedomsmith Rocks but Murphy's Law Prevailed

QuickN.. Century should send you another one.. I received one from them a few months back as I was having issues with the small spring inside the pin and they just sent me a new firing pin assembly period so now I have 2 of them and so they should just send you a new one. If they don't I will be sho...

Re: Venom red dot???

Sure glad I got the Venom with the battery compartment on the top rather than the Viper with the compartment on the underside I have the Viper and yes, it's a pain with the battery on the bottom. Lesson learned. LT.. I have the Viper also on my SFX.. I'm not complaining because it's been 6 months n...

It's all good.. I've done it 4 or 5 times now.. takes me about 5 minutes and about 10 or so to put back together (if the springs don't go flying...lol)

Re: TP9SFX not going into battery fix?

Yes.. Century Arms customer service is awesome. The email address I use is support @centuryarms.com I recently replaced my firing pin and all it took for me to get a whole new firing pin (spring and assembly included) with no questions asked is an email requesting it. Of course, that assumes you've ...

Re: CAnik TP9SFX .. decked out

Janik... The end of the gun polishing process didn't take long as far as using the scouring wheel, that came off easy like 30 minutes.. I did spend about 2 hours buffing, rebuffing with the polishing wheel though so about 3 hours and that was 1 month ago and I shoot it every week...just a light repo...

TP9SFX range report from South Texas

Just sharing information here on different scenarios I ran this week at the range trying to assess different combinations of ammo and springs and what works on my TP9SFX FYI: I purchased my TP9SFX in March 2018 from Preppersgunshop and it's a great gun... have competed in local steel matches only wi...

Re: CAnik TP9SFX .. decked out

I used a dremel tool with the scouing abrasive wheel ( that removes the tungsten finish) and then polished the hell out of it with Flitz gun polish and a buffing wheel on the dremel.
