Re: Reloads used in my 2nd range trip

My SFx doesn't know what a factory round is. I have run my reloads through it since day one. Typically shoot 115 gr plated Berry's with 4.8 grains of HP 38 in mine. They have worked 100% so far. I still have the stock recoil spring and I am probably nearing 700 rounds through it.

Re: Anyone have a ATI Titan Extreme 45 acp

If you need just the recoil spring you should be able to do it for less then $50 unless you're doing guide rod as well. Last one I replaced on a 1911 cost like $12 shipped from midway I think. It is a dual recoil spring assembly. The typical one they replace it with is for the Kimber Ultra Carry II...

Re: Anyone have a ATI Titan Extreme 45 acp

Thanks for the input. A friend of mine was interested in one but was a little worried about it not feeding well. Checked the reviews on line but most were two years old or older. The most common fix to them was to change the recoil spring and polish the feed ramp sometimes change mags too. A LGS has...

Anyone have a ATI Titan Extreme 45 acp

Has anyone purchased an ATI Titan Extreme 45 compact lately and if so how does it perform. They have had some feeding issues in the past and was curious if the newer 45's have fixed the feeding issues.

A popup window should come up. Do you have your browser set to block popup windows?
Checked popup blocker not turned on. Still not getting the window to come up must not be doing something right yet.

Re: Tp9sfx and Russian ammo

If you want to spend money on sprinco and lighter striker spring go for it and see what happens with the Tula ammo. If it runs good now I would just keep going with it the way it is. As the striker spring is what would lighten up the striker hit on the primer you could just try it cheaper and quick ...

Lighter weight trigger return spring SFX

To those of you that have put a lighter weight trigger return spring or modified the old one to be lighter did you notice the trigger reset to not be as crisp as the older spring? If so did you leave the lighter spring in or go back to the original?

Re: is putting a mark on the frame inevitable when

After looking at the posts on the different ways to get the pin out and a lot of them still marking the frame I did like Copterdrvr did and got the Dremel out. I used a small router bit and made a small channel under the takedown pin after that it was a piece of cake to drive the pin out.

Re: Apex Tactical Walther PPQ Flat Face Trigger

I had to modify the trigger. the top of the trigger on the Apex is full width the trigger in the Canik has a groove cut into one side of the trigger so the slide stop lever will fit into the frame after the trigger is put into the frame. If you compare the two triggers side by side you can see the d...

Re: Apex Tactical Walther PPQ Flat Face Trigger

Made it to the range today and put 50 rounds down range. With the Apex trigger it seemed like a different gun. Feels like the reset is a little quicker and it was quick to start with. Very minimal pre travel with the trigger now and shooting from the reset is very fast. If I ever purchase another Ca...

Apex Tactical Walther PPQ Flat Face Trigger

Bought a Apex Tactical Walther PPQ Flat Faced Forward set Trigger and tuned trigger bar at a local gun store today and installed it in my SFX tonight. All I can say at this point is WOW it feels like a totally different gun now. Very minimal take up now and still the crisp break and quick reset. Wil...

Re: Vortex Viper Mounting Screws

If you have a Do it Best hardware store in your area check it out. Around here they usually have a couple bins of dedicated gun screws and a thread pitch gauge to check your screw to see what thread you need.

Re: Vortex customer service

If you returned 4 of 4 that is pretty poor quality. How did the 4 replacements work out that they sent you? I can understand you going to Trijicon.
