Trying my Elite, DA, and C-100 in IWB...

With the cooler weather here I thought I would bring out some bigger guns. I missed a lot of carrying earlier this year due to my illness- so I need to get back to carrying something other than a tiny pocket gun. So.... I've been wearing them around the house to see if its all gonna work. I have tri...

Re: Liability Insurance for Gun Owners

Well.......I don't have it. I may consider it. Its not expensive- from what I found online: $47/year for $100k coverage $67- for $250k $100- for $500k $200- for $1m Thats not a lot of money, I don't think? I might look at this??? Another thing- and MAY be very important!....the state you live in! So...

Re: Greetings All

Welcome to the club arn11664......the Elite is definitely a good shooter. The DA is my favorite....about the same size as the Elite, but has a DA/SA trigger, and the grip is tad longer, 18 rounds.

Re: Striker or Hammer for Conceal Carry?

the TPR9c if I remember correctly with a 3.3" barrel. I had the forerunner to that gun- BT9 UC (Bersa Thunder 9mm ultra compact). Not much difference in them. They are great shooters...but ..... heavy ~28 oz empty and pretty wide. Just too big for me as a CC. I actually traded mine in on the Elite....

Re: Striker or Hammer for Conceal Carry?

Usually hammer fired for me....and it's usually one of the Bersa T380's. Occasionally the striker fired Kahr CT380 or a CW9 in the warmer months. (almost always IWB) However....since it was 57 outside this a.m. I'm gonna pull out my C-100 later on and give it a go. I have a nice leather snap scabbar...

Re: AR15 Optics

I have a Lucid H7 red dot on mine (~$200). At 25 yrds (don't laugh now) I can do fair, but at 100 yds I can't hit crap. And I can't see it either.
I probably need a 4x on mine.

The Elite-S is down to $380. If I wait until black Friday, they may be paying me to take them!
I paid $329 for mine across the shelf at my local pawn shop......I think? they had it priced wrong. Cause they had a SA right beside it with a price tag of $399. This was a year ago.

Sometimes it just plain obvious that someone should not have a gun.

I hope he kicked his stupid azz out and kept the gun....or called the police and gave it to them.

Never heard of them.
Did look them up.....their ammo is high. Especially the defensive ammo.....more than 2x price of Target Sports.
I would shop around.

Re: West Central Ga dealers?

I have seen some in Academy stores- mostly SA's, and a local pawn shop. I purchased a SF Elite locally....but my 2 DA's and the C-100 I ordered off the net...never held one before- only saw a pic on the net. . You can try armslist..... http://www.armslist.com/classifieds/search?location=georgia&cate...

Welcome to the club EFD316.......
Just be aware.... there are several different models. If you can not find what you are looking for...look online, buy it and have it shipped to a local dealer. The one I use charges $20 to receive a gun and xfer it to the customer. Some charge more, some less.

I want a dark gritty R rated
,

Have you seen "The 100"...? Plenty of violence, pretty good story line, and some "R" stuff too. Much more than is necessary. A couple of the babes are pretty hot.
There are 5 seasons on Netflix....don't know when season 6 is due out?

Re: For the Sci-fi fans...........

"Solo" is out now on dvd.......#2 son brought it over for me to watch. It was directed by Ron Howard (Opie). It fell in line with "The Force Awakens" and "The Last Jedi"........ not much of a story line....and they tried to make it up with special effects. It didn't work for me.
