Re: looking for tp9sf magazines

From what I can remember, yes... The SA and SF are the same. As far as holsters, I have a holster for my SF from Alien Gear Holsters.

Re: Liability Insurance for Gun Owners

I think for home defense it depends on your policy, I wouldn't think any homeowners insurance would cover you if away from home. As far as self defense insurance, I can't imagine why you wouldn't have that... When I got my CHL last year, I had a list of things I needed to carry.. Liability insurance...

Re: Striker or Hammer for Conceal Carry?

I've seen some pretty heated debates on this subject from many different forums, however the end is "whatever your most comfortable with". In that I 100% agree. I've seen posts ranging from a .22 derringer to a full sized 6" 357 magnum.... I'll give you my journey. I've been Texas CHL (LTC now) for ...

Per an interview with one of the RSO's and local news, the gun was unloaded at the time and both gentlemen have been permanently banned from the range.

Re: Your Latest Canik Purchase

I bought my T-100 used, so I don't know how many rounds went through it before, but I'd say I've got 200 + through it so far... My wife has a bad habit of limp wristing when she shoots (getting better).. The T-100 is the only gun so far that she hasn't had a stovepipe due to that... My SF and a few ...

And range is where I use them.... So I agree with you on that for sure... I wouldn't put them on anything that I would use for self defense....

Cheap $60.00 Chinook from Amazon... Only about 60 rounds with it attached, but has held true out to 75 yards... This is on top of a 7.63x39 upper, so a little more oomph than a regular .223

I like my Scorpion haven't had any issues with it. Other options are tempting if you have a large amount of Glock mag's, if not Scorpion mags are cheaper $18ish for cz 30 rounder vs $35ish for glock 33rd.
KCI 31 round Glock Mags are $12.99

I have 4 of them and they have so far performed 100%

Re: 9mm Carbine

I own both the Ruger PC and the Hi-Point 9mm carbine's... Both are just as fun to shoot as you've heard... I've not had a single issue with either one of them so far and that is after about 300 - 400 rounds through each. Both feel great to shoot, both are very accurate (I've only shot out to 25 yard...

Browning Hi Power - SWEET.... Just a joy to shoot, you just can't beat a 1911 platform in 9mm and there is a reason the BHP is so popular.
When you need room in the safe.... (me, me, me!)

I have one 1911 and it's a joy to shoot.
Yea.. Getting full.....

very nice not sure i like the solid black grips on the BHP though, I'd probably go with wood or the black and grey g10's.

2nd Canik

A buddy of mine needed to sell off some of his firearms and long story short, I bought 3 from him yesterday (Yea... I know... I have a problem). He sold me his Canik TP9 Elite with 4 mags for $300.00. I also aquired a Browning Hi-Power that has been completely updated with new springs, sights, grips...

If you are looking for good factory ammo cheap, i recommend LaxAmmo.com. Yes, they do remans too, but i have only ever bought their new stuff. I have about 15k rounds through 12 different guns, and have had one failure (a single squib that i happened to catch). It doesnt chrono as hot as it sounds,...

There are so many ideas...but in the interest of good taste, I will refrain from offering several that cross my mind. I bet if you put my picture on one, my wife's accuracy would improve greatly.
