Wow!
Can't believe I won. How do I claim the prize? I will definitely be passing this gun down one of these days to my newborn son!
We ended up naming him Ethan, and I will raise him, and his 4 older siblings to be Canik Fanatiks!

Happy for you!

Re: TriStar Arms Customer Service

If it is working I guess they fixed it. I would have thought that after 1500 rounds it would have deburred itself. And a recoil spring isn't worn out in 1500 rounds. I guess I'm wrong in my assessment but glad you're happy with the experience. I'm with you McCanik. While not looking a gift horse in...

Re: TriStar Arms Customer Service

What work was done? Have you tested it and satisfied with the repair? McCanik, the slide on my 40 C-100 was not locking back after the last round in a magazine was fired with factory ammo. The pistol has 1,500+ rounds through it. Before sending it in, I tried a two different magazines (didn't help)...

TriStar Arms Customer Service

Sent a pistol to TriStar Arms for service.
They received it on Monday.
They repaired it and I received it back on Friday.

Very impressive.

Higgy, may I ask what tool you used to smooth out your grips?

Thanks.

Re: Thin Cool Hand Grips for C100

Higgy, was the C100 pic that you posted taken before smoothing out the grips?

How did the smoothing out process affect the appearance of the grips?

Any "after" pics?

Thanks.

Oh wow!..... what a difference a little grinding can do. I feel 100% better already.... I want to go shoot this thing. That's awesome higgybaby, n  ice looking grips. Hadn't thought of grinding. Also, Pachmayr makes a very thin slip on rubber grip. SInce a purpose of the thin grips is to mak...

Thin Cool Hand Grips for C100

Grip info from other forum: *** The Cool Hand grips are about as thin as it is possible to make a grip for the C100. The grip follows the contour of the metal frame, with about a 1mm excess above flush. https://thumb.ibb.co/gGpq5J/Cool_Hand_Grip_with_Ruler_1mm_excess_above_flush.png Below is a pictu...

I like the thumbs up option.

Not such a fan of a thumbs down option.
There's enough negativity in the world already.

Since there are limits on file size when posting photos, suggest the error message for pics that are too big state the maximum file size.

The iPad app that I use for reducing the size of picture files is calle "Image Size" by vsmedia.de

After logging in, dark colored user name is difficult to see against dark background.

White user name would work for me.

Also, main page shows up correctly now on ipad. Thanks!

Just a note to let you know there is an issue on how the initial forum page appears on an iPad.
Here's a pic.

Thanks.
