Re: TP9SFX with 6moa Venom.

I would but I just got the Tungsten version. This would look great next to my SF in Desert Tan. Great price though.

Re: Good morning.....burrr- its 41 on the south side of Bama

I remember years ago in the Boy Scouts we were staying in cabins at a camp and they had "johnnys". The steam rising up made a frost ring that made it a bit uncomfortable to do your business first thing in the morning.

Switch the 4 and 1 around and that's what we have(14). It's going to be a long cold one this year I think.

I just wish their PL Valkyrie and this new one came with rechargeable batteries like the PL Mini.
I've been looking at the mini too. I do like the rechargeable batteries in it. I think it would look great on the SF. I'm just not sure if it's going to fit right.

Re: voted today

Seriously, guys...I was just kidding about Broward County "finding" more votes... Until it turns out to not be just a joke. This needs to stop... This happened here in MN when Franken beat Pawlenty. There was an automatic recount. Pawlenty started out with more votes. Then someone remembered she ha...

OLight PL-2RL BALDR

I recently picked up the newest WML from OLight. The PL-2RL. It's basically the Valkyrie with a laser attached to the bottom. 1200/400 lumens with a strobe. https://thumb.ibb.co/h4WzAA/IMG-20181109-131702-hdr.jpg Mounted on the SFX. https://thumb.ibb.co/iAyJ3V/IMG-20181109-131524-hdr-kindlephoto-111...

Welcome to the family. Lots of good info here.

I recently picked up the setup setup but with a venom not a viper. It is a great combo.

Re: Striker or Hammer for Conceal Carry?

I don't prefer either one. I just want it to be comfortable in my hand and shoot reliably. I started with a Ruger LC9 (hammer). Didn't like it. too hard for me to control and too "snappy" when fired. Then I found a Sig P290RS (hammer). Very nice. Shoots great/accurate and fairly comfortable. I also ...

It's not necessarily WHAT you listen to but HOW you do it!

OLD SCHOOL. Sounds so much better than digital to me.

Re: TP9SF GOES BANG! click.....

It would be great if they could send out a new FPBP. That might be all I need.

I just hope the lateral play doesn't get any worse over time.

Re: OLight PL2 Valkyrie

The rail on the SFX is the same as the SF. The slots in the rail are approx. 0.070" deep. The 1913 adapters are approx. 0.10" tall when installed in the light. 0.030" too much. It's just not going to work with the 1913 adapter installed. It clamps to the rail nicely without it. :-x :-x I've contacte...

Does yours fit ok on other guns or you have problems with other pistols as well?
So far I've only tried it on my SF. The 1913 key fits in the slot, it's just too tall so the light won't sit flat. I have an SFX I'm going to try when I get home but it think it will be the same.

Thanks again.

Mounts on my Elite fine, on my SA it doesnt quite sit all the way back but its close enough little 2mm or so gap.
So it sits flat against the rail just not far enough towards the trigger guard? They must use a different thickness rail alignment key on this new model.

Thanks.

Re: OLight PL2 Valkyrie

I recently picked up their PL-2RL Baldr. I LIKE IT BUT... Did anyone have any problem mounting their PL- Valkyrie to a Canik? I would think that the Valkyrie and Baldr would use the same main body. The Baldr fits the rail without the insert but the 1913 rail key is too tall. Did anyone need to "modi...

TP9SF GOES BANG! click.....

I've had my TP9SF for just over two years. It ran flawlessly until recently. After about 1000 rounds it started having the dreaded no strike/no fire issue. It eventually got to be every round. It has the small ramp on the firing pin block plunger. It also has some lateral play in the trigger bar. I ...

Re: Finally "pulled the trigger"

Thanks Higgybaby, A lifetime ago I too was out floating around the great oceans. I spent 6 years in the USN(ET2). They(mostly me) started calling me "Super Tech" after a while. I could fix radios without getting out of my rack. I did more and saw more places in that short time than most people do in...
