So I've wanted a Jericho forever, is the main difference here just a polymer lower?

Re: COCKING LEVER

The first time you put it in, it'll be very tight. Just lube it a little and after the first time it'll go in much easier. Err, wait... You mentioned you bought a Viper and you want to do comp; be aware that the racking lever is not allowed in USPSA Carry Optics class. Yup, it was a fun range toy f...

Re: Forum jerseys?

R/guns had a competition jersey made up last year, and the concept was cool. I think this could be better, personally. I'm thinking maybe we pool the different advertisers and sponsors on the site, possibly drive the cost down even if it was only a buck a jersey. I have a genetic uspsa one from tech...

Forum jerseys?

I have to admit, I'm new to the sport of competitive shooting but a sucker for jerseys. Im a mid pack carry optics guy, so a sponsorship probably isn't walking my way any time soon, but i still want to look the part versus just a t shirt out there while competing. Is there any other people out there...

Re: Taylorfreelance Canik +0 basepad "fits the box"

help me understand the reason for this - the standard plus 2 mags meet the length requirements for carry optics, so why lose two rounds? not questioning the validity or quality, just seeking to understand the why!

Re: Bulkammostore.com???

Oh i search use it, but if I'm getting my lax regular price for the same as a larger brand I sale, I'll typically keep ordering from them. Again ive had great luck, and s&b is a huge favorite of mine so it's not like i avoid it, just don't have a reason to go hunt and peck for the same or damn near ...

Re: Broken to Fixed - Upgraded Firing Pins from Canik!

Does anyone out there make a striker for these that isn't prone to breaking? Id have to imagine cast steel is still stronger than the plastic striker that they ship with, but i could be wrong. I use mine for competition and an waiting for the day it breaks during a day out, based on the horror stori...

Re: Bulkammostore.com???

I looked at LAX and their factory ammo is more expensive than 'name brand' ammo, even on their own site. Im not being snarky, but why would I want to pay more per round for LAX than for S&B, for example (shiping notwithstanding)? I'm buying the 2500 round can usually, and that's way cheaper than I'...

Re: Bulkammostore.com???

If you are looking for good factory ammo cheap, i recommend LaxAmmo.com. Yes, they do remans too, but i have only ever bought their new stuff. I have about 15k rounds through 12 different guns, and have had one failure (a single squib that i happened to catch). It doesnt chrono as hot as it sounds, ...

Re: New guy from Iowa.

I've been looking for something to shoot USPSA Carry Optics next year and Canik for it's value and trigger had me sold. Reviews, YouTube, and this forum with info, made me a Canik owner. Mine arrives this week. Met a very nice Canik owner from MN over the weekend at the Iowa Sectional match, so I w...

What ammo are you running in USPSA?

Hey guys, just diving into USPSA this past summer and had a ton of fun. I ended up getting really good results with the new federal syntech stuff, and it cycles my SFx like a dream. Any one else using factory loads have any other good stuff to try?
