Re: WTS- Walther PPQ-M2

Fyi, it's against the law to ship a pistol via USPS. You have to use UPS or FedEx and declare it.

Re: Walther PPS M2 recall........

I wanna know what the "fix" actually is before I send mine in. If it's an 'idiot with a hammer' scenario and Walther is going to install a F250 truck spring in the trigger, I'll skip it.

Btw, I love mine.

Re: Freedomsmith Fat Daddy or Racer

I can't figure out what problem the Racer is supposed to fix. Seems to me that the cuts on each side kind of defeat the 'fat' benefit.

It makes me sick how everyone is so hateful on this forum. I am a liberal, I own two Caniks, and it disgusts me how i am called a "Libtard'. If you actually took the time to know me, you would understand the liberal position. I come here to talk about Caniks, not to be put down. I am done with this...

The takedown screw on mine came loose the first couple outings, but after cleaning both the male and female threads, I've never had it come loose again. No way would I Loctite that, way too risky as McCanik discovered. https://thumb.ibb.co/jv1z8V/20181108-215655.jpg https://thumb.ibb.co/jmXjaA/20181...

Got one of the forum moderators to send us their SFX guide rod to get measurements and start making guide rods for them.
I'm only ten minutes away from you if you need an SFx to play with. I have two OE RSA's and a Sprinco RSA

Re: Canik TP9 Series Modifications and Upgrades

Another Weapon© patent-pending mod completed today. 89¢ for a 10 pack of #1 split-rings at Dunham's. Trigger pull dropped slightly, down to an avg. of 2.8 lbs. To pick up on a comment by Hank B in a prior post, my SFx is a 100% comp-only gun. I'd never make these changes to a carry gun. Try explaini...

Re: Prefer GREEN dots to red.

Sadly, I don't think any of the better quality Dots are available in green. I too would prefer green. The symptoms you describe with your ADE sound like the battery losing connection intermittently. The battery is rattling-around with each shot. It's a common problem with optics and GPS units. Try t...

Re: 45oz - Making my SFx a fat kid

Step 2 complete. Rather than try to source some 1/4" dia tungsten, I used 3/8" dia all the way up, from a 3 oz. package ($15 with coupon) I found at Hobby Lobby. No change to the length of frame, backstrap, or cylinders necessary, just shaved down each of the upper-most cylinders in order to get the...

Re: SW22 Victory

The optic choice is dependant on what type of shooting you intend to do with the Victory. If slow fire, longer distance is your thing, then a magnified optic might work. If you are shooting multiple targets quickly, I don't see a magnified optic working very well. Too hard to find the dot/cross hair...

Re: Have you seen the Mega millions lotto.....?

Yep, the odds of winning are preposterous, but tell that to the guy in Simpsonville, just 40 miles from me who has the single winning ticket.
The local news is pissing themselves over it.
I reckon the after tax money is still enough to buy Canik.
Not 'a' Canik, 'the' Canik.

What do you guys with Victorys think about this package? https://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/products2.cfm/ID/211580 That's actually not a bad price for the package, especially if those are the specific components you desire. The trigger and grips are a given. It would be good to confirm if...

The first time you put it in, it'll be very tight. Just lube it a little and after the first time it'll go in much easier.

Err, wait...

You mentioned you bought a Viper and you want to do comp; be aware that the racking lever is not allowed in USPSA Carry Optics class.

I was at the range today...After watching me shoot some more, he told me he is going to pick one up for sure. After watching me shoot, people generally buy something different than what I'm shooting that day. Which reminds me... Waitress: "Would you like some pie for dessert?" Customer: "Is it just...

All it took was the right punch and the pin practically fell out of my wife's. Armed with said new punch I decided to try my sfx again.
Sho nuff, dah pin jus feldid out too!
Moral: this mod is easy if you can see.
Were you originally using a 1/16" dia punch?
Went to a smaller dia?
