Re: Anyone know the exact size roll pin punch needed for the tiny roll pin that holds the take down tab in place?

Another brain storming idea I just had to add to the above, cut the .044" paperclip into a 2 inch section, carefully square off one end with a file or sand paper, then shove the other end squarely into a pencil, the eraser end till it stops against the wood. Voila, a .044" pin punch, with a nicer h...

Re: Anyone know the exact size roll pin punch needed for the tiny roll pin that holds the take down tab in place?

I just miked the wire size of a large paper clip, .044 inch. Relieve the frame slightly as mentioned previously, straighten and cut the paper clip to use as a "short L shaped pushing tool", after squaring the tip of the "pusher" with a small file or sand paper. One of the guys here mentioned previou...

Re: The Canik Picture Thread!

I should have never bought a CZ, now I feel another fever developing. Oh I understand, believe me. Like I said earlier, those Czechs has it going on for real, the product quality. They reported months back on the CZ forum CZ is building a manufacturing plant here, that CZ pistols will be produced i...

Re: AR-SBR-Shotgun etc. for home defense

My 24/7 home defense consists of a Glock 22 with a Streamlight TLR-6 attached. Backup is located in my safe which resides in my bedroom. First out is a Maverick 88 pump 12 gauge 18" barrel, youth stock, loaded with 00 buckshot and a FF3 red dot mounted atop.

I am surprised that there is not a dedicated picture thread here on this forum. Least I didn't find one searching around.

Re: Canik TP9DA and CZ P07

Of course my SFX with its FF3 optic makes fast accurate shooting even easier than the S2 at any distance, least for me and my old eyes. But the S2 trigger is unrivaled. I'm going to have to take a group photo.

But I concur with your assessment, SFX best striker fired trigger I have shot.

Re: Canik TP9DA and CZ P07

I don't know about that. I purchased a CZ Shadow 2 about 2.5 months ago (3 weeks after the SFX) and put $50 of CGW springs/xtended FP in it and ended up at SA = 2.2 lbs and DA = 5lbs 11 oz. Of course the S2 costs much more (2.2x) than the SFX going in, but its the finest shooting/firearms craftsmans...

Re: Shooting SFX without Firing Pin Block Plunger and Spring

Good test. Now we know. My SFX is 3 months old. I put in the 6.5 lb Ghost striker spring and RP plunger spring, and some very light polish. I'm @ 3 lbs 7 oz now. Still oem trigger. Shot her today, she is a boss!

Re: Hope all you "Panhandlers" are ready.....Mike is on the move.

Video from the town of Mexico Beach FL reveal utter devastation. Like bare slabs and debris everywhere. I have lived in southern Louisiana for 58 years. My house and car was flooded by Hurricane Isaac August 29, 2012. So I moved a wee bit further north. I have never evacuated for any hurricane.........

Re: AR15 Optics

Clearly you first need to define your objective, your intent for your weapon. But for the life of me, I cannot see purchasing or assembling a defensive or tactical rifle, then putting a $50 optic on it. If your sole intent is for target practice or banging plates on a nice sunny day, so be it. I'm g...
